Problems connecting the tablet to the computer

Google since 4.1.2 made it so that Android clings to a computer using a different protocol, via MTP. At the same time, the "external disk" mode itself was no more.
On Windows 7 and 8, there are no problems. The device connects without problems.
On older versions of Windows XP SP3, if Windows Media Player 10 or 11 is not installed, it is very likely that the tablet cannot be connected using the MTP protocol. And the installation does not always help.
Found a solution:
1. You need to have on your computer or download the installation package, which is called "wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe". In the internet you will find it easy.
Who is too lazy to look for ...wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe(24.55 MB)

2. Unpack it with RAR in any folder.
3. Run the umdf.exe file in this folder.
The problem disappears. MTP device is detected.
