Installation instructions for custom CWM Recovery for 4505

Download fileCWM Recovery for PAP 4505and unzip it.
Go to the "Settings" - "For Developers" - "USB Debugging - Turn On"

1. Open the Device Manager on the PC, turn on the connected device via USB to the computer and select the connection option "as a USB drive", remove the battery. Or open the Device Manager on the PC, smartphone WITHOUT the battery, connect the USB cable to the PC, first turn on the cable in the PC and then into the smartphone;
2. A new device (Preloader MT65xx) will appear for a while in the Device Manager, quickly right-click "driver updates" (or 2 left-click to open information on the device and select "Update driver") and select "install driver manually" Preloader MediaTek USB VCOM port "from the Drivers folder (in the previously unzipped .zip), depending on your version of Windows (checked Win7 64bit and Win7 32bit). If you didn’t manage the first time, unplug the phone and plug it in again, capture the moment on the Device Manager.
3. Disconnect the smartphone from the PC (remove the cable from the smart) and run Flash_tool.exe
4. Left-click on the Scatter- loading button and specify the path to the / PAP4505 Recovery CWM / MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt directory and click Open.
5. At the top of the buttons, click on Download and then "YES" to confirm that you want to continue.
6. Connect the switched off phone - self-loading recovery to the phone will start.
*** Now there can be two situations: The end of loading window will appear with a green circle. The second option: the computer starts by itself to load another driver "MediaTek DA USB VCOM port" and the firmware program will generate an error. Do not worry, just unplug the phone, remove the battery for a few seconds, go back to the beginning to load again, click "Yes" again and connect via USB when the phone is off. Until you get a confirmation window of the successful installation of recovery in the phone with a green circle.
7. Disconnect the cable from the phone, remove / insert the battery and hold VOL + and Power, then use the VOL + key to select recovery mode and confirm with the VOL- key. You are in CWM Recovery.
That's all. :-)

If you need to install the original recovery: The actions are the same as with the custom CWM, only instead of the Recovery CWM folder, specify the path to the Recovery Origo folder. The rest of the procedure is the same.

Instruction for firmware using the SP Flash Tool

You will need:
1. Program SP Flash Tool.
2. MT6575 USB VCOM drivers.
3. Factory firmware for your smartphone.
4. CheckSum Generate program.

Instruction:
1. Unpack the SP Flash Tool archives, MT6575 USB VCOM, CheckSum_Generate and archive with firmware. Copy the CheckSum_Generate program to the folder with the firmware and launch it (the Checksum.ini checksum file will be generated in the folder).
2. Turn off the smartphone. The cable is not connected to the computer.
3. Remove and insert the battery back.
4. (skip if the drivers are already installed) Connect the phone to the computer with a cable. The operating system will find a new device - specify the system folder with the driver MT6575 USB VCOM (for its version of the OS). If something does not work with the installation of drivers, then use this method of installing drivers.
5. (skip if drivers are already installed) Disconnect the cable from the computer.
6. Run the program SP Flash Tool.
7. Click on the Scatter-loading button and select the file MT6575_Android_scatter_emmc.txt or MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt (it lies in the folder with the firmware).
8. Click the Download button.
9. Connect the phone to the computer with a cable. The program should see it and start the firmware. If the phone is not found, then disconnect it from the computers, remove and insert the battery and reconnect to the computer.
10. After the end of the firmware, turn off the phone.
11. Done
