Experience is. I took the uncommitted Svyaznoy, but I passed it back, since the router had broken the connection, rebooted, warmed up strongly. I took a broken analogue of Mts 411D - the iron is one-on-one, only the firmware is different, and it works much nicer.

Maybe I want a lot from the device, but it would be more convenient for me if such bonuses were available: work in tyrnet when connected via USB (at work computer in the domain, access to many sites is closed by the proxy server settings, and besides, there is no WiFi module). We have to pull out the SIM card, insert it into the whistle, while the tablet loses access to the network. Inconvenient.
And besides, it would be wonderful to have access to the SD card via the modem page in the browser, as described in the English-language user interface in order to save the downloaded info not only when connected via USB. The meaning of having an SD card in the device is lost, except as if there is no flash drive ...

At first, the Y580D hung up when it made the settings, it began to work stably. Wai-Fi is weaker than that of Huwei, but 3J is more stable. Yes, the flash through the web does not see. And I don’t like that you can’t save SIM-PIN, each time you have to enter it into Hoovey better. The reason for the replacement with Huwei, he lacks the number of connections he has only five, in Alcotel-10. And recently there is a connection, pings are coming, and sites are slowing down, sometimes godlessly. It is impossible to view SMS in the site through the site, only by connecting via USB. A modem is hanging on the window high and climbing is not convenient to shoot. Repeatedly asked MTS-nikov to do info about traffic in the Internet assistant, zero attention, as usual!

When I tried to solve the problem with the router from Svyaznoy, I tried almost all the firmware from the Alcatel site - none wanted to run, the firmware program gave an error, something about incompatibility. In general, I passed that router back. Not quite simply it turned out. First, the sellers began to heal me that they would send him for examination for 21 days, since, allegedly, this is a technically complex product. But in the list of complex technical goods that cannot be replaced and returned within 14 days, there are only “touch screen communication devices” (item 6 in the list), this is first, and, secondly, the law clearly indicates examination of 10 days, but not 21 days, and their justification that they, they say, "remote point of sale and so quickly do not have time" have no meaning. That is, within 14 days the store is obliged to return the money both for the router and for, for example, a non-touch phone. Good or not - it does not matter. Of course, if the goods are not damaged, complete. Sellers resisted to the last, until I called the technical support line of the Connected and did not explain the situation, with references to the law. After direct instructions from a specialist from the line, I was immediately returned the money. In general, knowledge of the law helps, and unscrupulous trade workers make full use of the fact that most buyers do not think about it.

PS I will add, just in case. If you bought a defective product that is included in the list of technically complex, for example, a touchscreen phone, a navigator or something else, you have the right to write a statement about the return of funds. The outlet, in turn, has the right to send the goods for quality control, examination, in order to establish the cause of the malfunction - the consumer’s fault or factory defect. It is clear that if the consumer’s fault is revealed, no one will return the money, but if the factory defect is without question. Only here the sellers often arbitrarily increase the time of examination - 21 days, or some more, especially the Messenger with this sin. Remember - they have 10 days, and no more than that, let them have time, these are their problems. In general, I have three phones, using the knowledge of the law, successfully returned to sellers. Two - in the Messenger, and one - in the Seven Hundred. Well, the router in Svyaznoy.

PPS About MTS (operator, not a router). Both on the old and the new router I tried to track the tracing to certain sites, there is software for this in the Market. So, quite often the number of jumps is overwhelming, for example, from a company of 5-6 jumps, through a router it can reach almost 30. This can explain the glitches and the long response of sites. Roughly speaking, this is the same thing as traveling or flying from Moscow to Samara via Vladivostok. Why such strange routes from Mts is not clear. However, this feature of the operator has almost no effect on a locked router, but the Svyaznov nightmare was just besides purely technical problems.

A friend asks to switch the router to 3G Only mode. The description says everything about the settings in the Web Configurator. but only in reality The choice of network mode is NOT active. That is, it is set to "Automatic" and nothing can be changed.
So MTS works with us, that through 3G, at least on one antenna division, the Internet works, and in 2G it almost doesn’t work on all divisions either!

At the same time I would like to know about the mode "just a modem via USB". In the firmware of the router there is a virtual CD image with software. Installed, everything is determined, and what to do with this software? Moved to Beeline, now everything is normal, "pumping" at the height!
Modem so far satisfied. I have a bad coverage area, so the modem hangs high on the window.
I drilled a pair of holes in the lid of the modem's case with a thin drill, through them the strap loops "not a hand" from the fotik and I hang it on it.
Otherwise, 3G is not caught.

How, in your opinion, is the control of the router connected via the web interface and the Internet? Connected Internet onlydoes not allowchange network mode, so you need to turn it off. Communication with the router via Wi-Fi is not lost from this. See screenshots, everything changes perfectly and is selected.
