D-Link DIR-632 - Discussion

Description:
Description:
The perfect solution for building a home network
Connecting the D-Link DIR-632 wireless router to a cable or DSL modem provides shared high-speed access to the Internet, game consoles, and multimedia devices. The DIR-632 802.11n router provides up to 14 times more speed and a 6-fold increase in range1, compared to 802.11g, while remaining backward compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b devices. With two external antennas, this router provides a high degree of wireless coverage for a large home and office. In addition, the built-in 8-port 10/100 Fast Ethernet switch provides wired devices for fast data transfer and online gaming without delay.

Advanced Wireless Security
The DIR-632 router supports security features to prevent unauthorized access over a wireless network or from the Internet. Support for WEP, WPA and WPA2 standards provides the optimal choice of data encryption. In addition, the router supports dual firewall (SPI and NAT) to prevent potential attacks from the Internet.

IPv6 Ready
The DIR-632 facilitates the transition from IPv4 to IPv6. The router was awarded the IPv6 Ready logo, which means not only its support for IPv6, but also its compatibility with other manufacturers' IPv6 equipment. This allows you to use a 128-bit addressing system and connect directly to a user anywhere in the world using a unique IP address. Thanks to the dual-stack architecture, the DIR-632 can simultaneously support routing for networks based on IPv4 and IPv6, which ensures complete compatibility of the device.

The question is completely off topic (no longer where to turn), somebody can assemble openwrt for dir 632, you can be completely naked (but with usb) with linux tight, very tight.

can anyone build openwrt for dir 632

http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-632- for A1 there is a collected image. In general, it is necessary to specify the revision of the router - in the same case there are often completely different devices (sometimes even on different processors), and outwardly the whole difference can only be in the revision on the sticker.
There Atheros AR7241 / AR7242 @ 400MHz, and the Keenetic Series - Ralink rt305x / 5350 - so really offtopic.

If the router (dir 623) is dd wrt then it goes to the address 192.168.1.1 via ssh telnet web, on the same router if you put open wrt then the web does not enter, but it goes to telnet and ssh, where to drop? how to run lucyu (web interface)?

how to run lucyu (web interface)?

I suppose it's about OpenWRT? Then we do:
opkg update; opkg install luci-i18n-russian luci; /etc/init.d/uhttpd enable; /etc/init.d/uhttpd start

S-trace,
I would be glad, but inet via 3G, if there is an option from telnet to turn it on, then I think everything will work out :)
I tried to throw this Lucy on the router itself and install it from there, but it does not work (apparently you need to update the opkg)

Bad tried. opkg install /path/to/package.ipk puts everything perfectly without the Internet (provided that all dependencies are already satisfied, of course)

3 questions:
0. What are the filesystems and with which flags are mounted (cat / proc / mounts)?
1. What is the version of OpenWRT?
2. Who taught you pieces of output to the console in the form of screenshots spread ??

Hello.
Tell my friends, I normally have only one wi-fi device working through the router.
Internet from Rostelecom. How should I set it up normally or be stitched to another firmware (will it help or not)?
at the moment there is firmware 1.40.

Think !!! Is it worth it ??

Does the people have anyone OpenWRT firmware for this device with support for the hard disk in USB, as I understand it, which is here purely for mopeds sharpened and there is no hard drive support module. I tried to assemble a module separately for this revision failed.

When installing some packages, an error occurs

When building from source using patch -https: //raw.github.com...ter/patch-dir632.patch
The compilation is successful - but the created image is not flashed into the router even through an emergency boot while holding the Reset.
The above firmware are flooded successfully.
The only original firmware, DD-WRT firmware and the ones above, are 7.3 MB in size.
5.4 MB compiled by me
Maybe this is the reason?

Good day!
There is a router 632. The OpenWRT firmware was installed from thisof the forum.
Need to put multiwan package. I tried different repos, there is no neta version of the kernel, then some dependencies are needed. Maybe someone has a working package for this firmware.
And who collected them from which source they are these firmware?

I post only 2 firmware, but if someone can use Google, they will find the third one :) Attached file firmware.zip (9,08 МБ)

How did you compile the firmware?
Apply patchhttps: //raw.githubuser…ter/patch-dir632.patch
Sources I take from the barrier_breaker / 14.07 branch
In menuconfug I select the necessary packages. After compilation, the resulting firmware is not flashed to the router, even through the emergency bootloader.
As a result of comparing the firmware, I found out that they differ in size of 7.3 MB (Attached by firmware.zip), compiled by me 5.4 MB.
At the end of the firmware file 7.3 MB a lot of free space:
end of data 0x57000 - DE AD C0 DE, then begin 0x00
at the end of the address 0x750000 line - A101-AR7242-RT-100324-02.
Similar in other firmware for this router (DD_WRT).
I added the same line to the end of my firmware at 0x57000. The result of the firmware was not accepted by the loader.

The feeling that something is missing the head part in the firmware - for example, in my very beginning comes the line "hsqs ..."
In the "Attached File Firmware.zip" at the beginning of the firmware, the line MIPS OpenWrt Linux-3.8.9 is encountered.

Perhaps you need to make a profile for the DIR-632, like target / linux / brcm47xx / profiles /?
