On 4c (restored from backup) my number hangs in gray, on 4k (all settings have been reset, the phone has been activated as new) there is no number at all, only soap. I called a friend (4c with 5.0.1) on the facetime on the phone number, everything is OK, connected. I asked him to turn on / off the facetime on his phone and voila, he now also does not have to be attached to the phone number.
I did not understand the aymessage yet, but the situation there is similar.
All settings are in order, the Internet works, SMS is sent, MMS is sent and so on. } -)
