Firmware update procedure: Attention!!: Do not enable "USB debugging" in the settings
when updating the firmware,
If "USB debugging" is enabled, then it needs to be disabled !!!
Make sure that the battery of your tablet is charged, otherwisehighly recommendedcharge the tablet before upgrading (better to 100% charge) to avoid firmware failure due to low battery charge.
Also, the reason for the failure of the firmware can serve as a poor-quality / defective cable, USB port, or any failures in the operating system. Remember !! All actions with flashing the tablet you do at your own peril and risk. 1. Download the archives of the firmware program and the firmware you need and unpack it.
2. Turn off the tablet.
3. We connect the USB cable to the rear USB port on the computer (
without adapters and extension cables, it is also not recommended to connect to the front ports of the case )
4. On the tablet, hold down the + volume button and without releasing it, connect the cable to the tablet connector, then without releasing the volume button, press 1x something thin, for example, a Reset button (with a needle on the tablet, there is a hole next to the speaker).
5. The computer will determine the new device, then go to the device manager (right click on the icon "Computer" =>"Properties" =>"Device Manager")
6. In the Device Manager list we find "UnknownDevice", right-click on it and click "Update Driver", then from the proposed two options select the bottom "Install drivers in manual", in the appeared window click "Browse" button and select the folder where you unzipped the program Installer firmware, it contains the folder with drivers for different versions of Windows, select the folder with the appropriate driver version, click next and install the driver in the forced mode, confirming and agreeing.
7. After successful installation of the driver, run the RKBatchTool.exe program from the folder with the installer, in the program interface, press the very first button below and select the second option to switch to English.
8. At the bottom of the program there are gray squares with numbers. The first number should be green! This means that the drivers have been successfully installed and the program has successfully connected to the tablet and is ready for further action. If it is still gray, then you have not carefully read the previous paragraphs of the instructions and missed something. If green then we continue ...
8. Click on the top right button with three dots "..." opposite "FW Path" and select the desired firmware through the explorer from the folder where you unzipped it. (The firmware should be in the .IMG format, if the RAR format means you forgot to unzip it: lol: )
9. After choosing the firmware in the program's dialog box, two lines of "Loading Firmware ..." and "Loading Firmware Finished" appear, if these inscriptions appear, it means everything is OK and you can continue ...
10. Press the 3rd button at the bottom of the "Restore" and the firmware process will begin ... First there will be the process of formatting the memory from 0% to 100%, then the process of downloading the firmware to the tablet from 0% to 100%, then the process of checking the firmware from 0% to 100 % (all processes take place in automatic mode unnecessarily interfere, wait patiently ...)
11. After all 3 processes have been completed, the 1st green square will turn gray and the tablet will reboot, after rebooting when the very first picture on the tablet with the Amoi inscription is taken, we pull out the cable from the tablet and wait for it to load, the first download after flashing may take 1-3 minutes wait patiently ... after loading the tablet is ready to go.
Attention : Points 5 and 6 are used only for the first firmware, in subsequent flashing to perform actions from these 2 points
not necessarybecause the driver will already be installed on your computer.
