Good to know
Sometimes, after flashing the router, it may be unavailable for configuration (i.e., an error occurs when trying to log in to 192.168.0.1). Before any dancing with a tambourine, try to update the IP address of your computer. For example, on Windows, use the commands
ipconfig / release
ipconfig / renew
those. keyreleasewe release rather keyrenewupdate the IPv4 address for the specified adapter.

Information on "Night" firmware
Firmware:
Q:"What is night firmware?".
A:The formula is simple: Last release + current cumulative edits for known issues.

Q:"How is the nightie different from the release?"
A:It is necessary to understand that this is a “draftâ€. When a new “nightie†is being made, something is fixed or optimized in it, but this firmware (unlike the release version) did not pass the entire set of tests for internal and external compatibility. Drafts, on the other hand, are also correct. Yes, the risk of running into a glitch is higher, but "baubles and fiches" in "nightie" appear much earlier than in releases.
What to use - you choose.

Q:"Where can I get the current nightie?"
A:In the Telegram there is a bot@dlink_rubotdistributing "night" firmware on most current models.

Even if the bot does not distribute the firmware specifically for your model / revision, on the Telegram channelD-Link_RUThere will surely be people who can help you with your question.

What just did not google already. And I gave the rights, and included, disconnected the folder of not finished downloads and it does not help.
How to beat this?

Who has a DIR-620 E1 please make a good photo place with CSS strapping elements. that it would be possible to disassemble the inscriptions. Thank.

Usb is no longer relevant. It is necessary to mark around the 6-foot pw by 5 volts.

Good day!

One thing interests, here I did not find it: there is a 4G modem Huawei E8372 (MTS 8211F) and DIR-620 A1 with Keenetic v2.01 firmware (BFW.0) C3
I found information that this 4G modem is supported on Keenetic firmware v2.06.B4 and higher. Bottom line: this modem is not yet possible to be installed on the DIR-620 A1 with Keenetic v2.01 (BFW.0) C3 firmware or maybe there are any loopholes / tips in this direction?
Thank you in advance!

Guys, good afternoon. There is this miracle Dir-630 rev A1 I want to reflash it on OpenWRT 06/18/1 just as I read the topic a little confused. The router has firmware 1.0.6 and on the openwrt site, as I understood from the description, it must be flashed to version 1.2.x which is not here. And in general, correctly, I realized that it should be reflashed to the factory and then to openwrt? Or just download the .bin file and re-flash it to version 18.06.1 via the web? Here is a photo help pliz
thank

P.s. The reason for the flashing is the speed of the cable 10-12mb and by Wi-fi it barely reaches 200kb ...

OpenWRT is not the smartest, there is no support for HW NAT, especially the latest version 18.
I would stick a radiator and fill in a modified Kinetics 2.01 / Vive / Padavan. If USB functionality is important, then iron revision + Kin 2.04. If so, and OpenWRT - then the SS 15.05 (1) is not higher, IMHO.

* evzomsk,
There is no possibility to stick a radiator
Is it just necessary to flash the update in the router or something else?

The radiator is highly recommended for stability / long life. Custom usually sewn from the emergency gang. All infa is in the header. Do not be lazy to read. OpenWRT is usually 2 factory and sysupgrade images.

Good afternoon! Dir-620 rev. A1 firmware Kinetics 2.01. Is there any way to organize a DLNA server? Connect HDD to the router, and broadcast video on Smart TV? Is this possible on some other firmware?

On firmware 3.0.0 as far as I understand there is such an opportunity. And on Kinetek, even if you upgrade to 2.0.4, it will not work?

I now have firmware 2.0.1, I did not want to roll back to 1.11. I want to either Kinetics 2.0.4 or native 3.0.0

And what is there to roll back?!. Via Web Face / Firmware Update ...
2.04 - WiFi will not work without a soldered resistor ... Soldered?!. (Yes, and standard in components 2.04 it, DLNA, it seems not installed too ... We'll have to do DIR updated ...)
At home - if you took care of the emergency mode in advance, then there are no problems either ...

They write that "In the V2 series firmware, additional applications can not be launched" as I understand it either on my 2.0.1 or 2.0.4 DLNA I can not do it. Apparently you have to sew the standard 3.0.0. Who flashed revision A1 (black box) with firmware 3.0.0, does this feature work there?

Before you ask questions (state about what you are supposedly "writing"), you would read the topic header ... As a rule, it helps to understand the situation ...;)

I can not do anything on 2.0.4 DLNA

also wrong ...

Threat in the cap material, which implies that the reader will understand how to solve your question ...;)

* _Danila_Master_,
And again without an answer, only the message "Go read ...". I do not find! I ask for cultural help.
If anyone can tell me how to raise DLNA on Kinetics 2.0.1. If it is impossible on it, can it be done on Kinetics 2.0.4? How?
