Good to know
Sometimes, after flashing the router, it may be unavailable for configuration (i.e., an error occurs when trying to log in to 192.168.0.1). Before any dancing with a tambourine, try to update the IP address of your computer. For example, on Windows, use the commands
ipconfig / release
ipconfig / renew
those. keyreleasewe release rather keyrenewupdate the IPv4 address for the specified adapter.

Information on "Night" firmware
Firmware:
Q:"What is night firmware?".
A:The formula is simple: Last release + current cumulative edits for known issues.

Q:"How is the nightie different from the release?"
A:It is necessary to understand that this is a “draftâ€. When a new “nightie†is being made, something is fixed or optimized in it, but this firmware (unlike the release version) did not pass the entire set of tests for internal and external compatibility. Drafts, on the other hand, are also correct. Yes, the risk of running into a glitch is higher, but "baubles and fiches" in "nightie" appear much earlier than in releases.
What to use - you choose.

Q:"Where can I get the current nightie?"
A:In the Telegram there is a bot@dlink_rubotdistributing "night" firmware on most current models.

Even if the bot does not distribute the firmware specifically for your model / revision, on the Telegram channelD-Link_RUThere will surely be people who can help you with your question.

rtmx, needed for D-Link DIR-620 rev.D1, not D-Link DIR-620 rev.C1

Well, there were also firmware for D-Link DIR-620 rev.A1;) And for rev.D1 you need to build to order: blush:

So, firmware for D-LinkDIR-620 A1http://yadi.sk/d/teHZf2DC1tKre
Corrected version for this platform:http://yadi.sk/d/MDP8nZC41v_xe

Attention! This firmware is only for those who have openwrt in it. It is impossible to upload it with native firmware !!!!!
Firmware for a direct transition from native to mine today or tomorrow will be posted by Comrade Rusink.
Firmware for other routers can ask in the LAN. You must tell the model and hardware version of your router.
I repeat once again, you are flashing your piece of iron at your own peril and risk, I am not responsible.

So, features: works in CDC mode with many Huawei modems, includingE392, E398, E3276. SupportsLU150andLU156.
Username / password root / root, IP 192.168.1.1. Out of the box is registered APN Yota.
After changing the APN and other settings related to 3G / 4G, reboot the router from the webmord, otherwise the changes will not be applied.

Spread OpenWRT firmware for routersDIR-620 A1to work with Huawei E392 / E3276 modems in CDC / NDIS mode (network card).
I have tested and packaged it for uploading through the web interface of the native Dlinka firmware.http://yadi.sk/d/TQnFHAY01tNJK
For firmware from the web interface, it is necessary that the router be flashed with a native firmware not older than the DIR_620-1.2. ** version.
If you have firmware 1.3.0 and later, you must first roll back to version DIR_620-1.2.102-20110518

Correct if I am wrong - revisions:
A - old iron but you can change into zyuksel
D - new iron but not changed in zyuksel
C - differs in percents from Broadcom, but not Railink (iron roar C1 - dd-vrt) + There is a chance to get a device with 64 MB of RAM, but no one guarantees work over 32 MB.

Interested in - are there any advantages of iron roar. From from roar. D other than hypothetical?
NORMAL Support with third-party firmware is only a roar. D.firmware roar C1 - dd-vrt

So I can not figure it out: the store has 2 Dir 620 - D-Link DIR-620 / S / C1 and D-Link DIR-620 / B / D1. According to the above
wersal256 @ 05/05/2013, 11:12*
A - old iron but you can change into zyuksel
D - new iron but not changed in zyuksel
C - differs by percents from Broadcom, but not Railink (iron roar. C1 - dd-vrt) + there is a chance to get a device with 64 MB of RAM, but no one guarantees work over 32 MB.

What do the letters S & B mean? Which one is better to take?
P.S. the router requires the organization of the home network (router-laptop-media player) and the connection of a hard disk with additional power to it.
Will it work for these purposes or see something else?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, this is understandable ...) it just worked fine with 3G modems, I didn’t touch it. and now I really want a normal speed on LTE, but the toad is stifling a new router to buy. So I'm looking for a new firmware ..)

You will need to add QMI support in RNDIS mode:
Code
{QMI_FIXED_INTF (0x0408, 0xea42, 4)}, / * Yota / Megafon M100-1 * /
http://www.spinics.net/lists/netdev/msg226045.html

Alas, I'm in this business noob. :( if I clean it up completely - of course I’ll sit down to figure it out, but given that the experience grows in direct proportion to the equipment that is out of service - you still have to buy a new router.)))

In the new alternative firmware from McMCC v1.10 (21/03/13)
Support for new 3G / LTE modems has been added for ZyXEL:
- Huawei E3276 (Megaphone M150-1)
- 4G Megaphone / MTS M100-1 and M150-1
- Yota WLTUBA-107 (CDC-Ethernet mode)
http://l10n.ndl.ru/firmwares/NDMSv1/210320...utf8_130321.txt

Yes, thanks, I saw. But this firmware is purely under zyxel. and I have all the same Dir pereshito in Zyxel. Not sure if these firmwares will work ...

Well, everything should work on the Rusink OpenWRT firmware for the DIR-620-A1:
openwrt-ramips-rt305x-dir-620-a1-squashfs-sysupgrade_4G_uqmi-Rusink-logo

The fact is that there he writes that "I assembled a new version for the DIR-620-A1 with support for 4G LTE modems in CDC / NDIS mode (as a network card)." And the M100 does not work as a network card, but as a normal modem. For the sake of experiment, you can, of course, but you want specifics, to be honest ..: blush:

But thanks anyway for the answer! If no one confirms the performance of these firmware - we will act by trial and error. :)
