This only applies to installing firmware updates, since it replaces this file.

* kovalDN,
Those. it is no longer relevant to pay attention to it, will there be no more microcode updates? Can I stupidly upgrade to 8.1.2 and then do the manipulations with OEMSettings.reg?
Tell me about the glitches. It is very likely that the sensor has changed, but apparently original, because everything works, except for the backlight. But at some points the interface glitches, for example, in saving the battery when scrolling through the list of applications, in Vinci when scrolling through filters and during the overlay, in Windows Insider or in Gadgets or in Updategrade advisor the interface slides diagonally. Well, not all, but some elements or background. For the first time I see this. What is the reason? I bought a piece ... (((

It is worth paying attention to when updating the firmware. This may be relevant when installing the firmware with an earlier version of the firmware than are now on the servers of Microsoft.

If the firmware version is up-to-date, you can immediately edit OEMSettings.reg (add Interop Unlock, necessary tweaks, etc.), check for a reset, and then update the OS. When upgrading an OS without firmware, this is not critical.

Given the problem with the broken backlight, almost guaranteed to change the sensor. Problems apparently hardware.

* kovalDN,
Dumped all the same to the eight. The option of preserving the interop that you specified is not suitable. It is for firmware 8.0. Here it is immediately 8.1 and there is no required folder
Phone =>Data =>Users =>System =>AppData =>Local =>UpdateStagingRoot
Are there any other options?

This folder appears only when directly downloading updates.
For the above manipulations, the required folder is

Yes, there was)

I did everything as indicated. To check made a reset of the body. I got spinning gears, but the progress bar does not move at all, just a gray bar. It does not seem like it is ok.

* kovalDN,
The result is a wrecked interop. Tell me, there in the mane it is indicated that the oem file should be uploaded to the update folder, and checked in the windows folder, etc. It is clear that he is just stupidly copied there. After resetting the body and installing the WP tweaker, one of the switches does not work (obviously, this tweak is not used in the oem file). If I do everything from scratch, restore the WDRT firmware, then install interop and tweaker and do all the tweaks I need, how can I export them to an oemsettings file?

Everything is written thereJailbreak Talk (Post Pen4iK # 41124985)
Register the necessary tweaks directly in OEMSettings.reg, but this is not a discussion of this topic.

customer brought the Lumia 820 (RM-825_eu_russia_200) 10/08/14234,375
on win 8.1,
as I understand, support for Win 8.1 is discontinued, the store and many applications do not work.
The goal is to flash or update on Win 10.
From the header, the links mostly do not work, have already expired.
tried to update with otcupdater 8,2,0,0

Let the customer wait. As for the update, 820 does not support 10, and somehow I don’t need to put it on, it’s going to be a worse impression.
