How does it work? Are there noticeable lags / friezes? Does the sound transmit too? Is it possible to separately transmit sound without a picture? I did not wait for this program in due time for PC. And now there’s nothing to check on.

Post has been editedvitaliy4 - 21.02.13, 00:20

Rep: (41)
vitaliy4,
It works fine for me, no friezes, the sound is also transmitted. It all depends on the characteristics of your wifi adapter and the distance from the console itself. I would not recommend playing games, if only there is a slight delay in turn-based strategies, but you can watch a movie or show photos.

Rep: (1)
Yes, a good program. I have 2 monitors, is it possible to make AirParrot work like a third monitor?

Is it possible to make AirParrot work like a third monitor?

I didn’t succeed, I wanted to play a movie from a computer on a TV and work on a computer at the same time. In theory, you can, if you manage to create a "virtual" monitor or desktop so that it is visible in the list of displays in airparrot.

good program, now thinking about buying apple tv.

Rep: (43)
But no one knows the reverse program so that airserver is launched on the computer and it is possible to send a picture from the device to the computer screen under win 7?

Ps. I found the sound server, the sound goes through airplay to the computer speakers, it works perfectly and hangs in autorun. When the computer is turned on, pairing is always available. It is convenient to listen to music in bkplayer, for example, control is always at hand, watch movies on iPad, etc.

Download, install. But the sound does not transmit to the ETV. Installed inable audio in the settings, but there is no sound, only video. Why?

BOSS_KRR,
What generation of set-top boxes, which router, what wifi adapter does the computer / laptop have?

Rep: (6)
Good afternoon, I'm thinking about buying an ETV, tell me, did I manage to defeat the separation of screens, or is it only duplicating? Or can you tell me a similar program?

When I first downloaded the Airroth to Windows, one more monitor was connected to the laptop and it accepted AppleTv as the third monitor o.O

Does anyone have a cure for the latest version of the program?

Rep: (0)
Guys, there is an interesting problem. At home I have 1 hospital, and 1 laptop. Initially, both computers saw apple tv (in iTunes when playing music there was an icon to play sound on the set-top box, Airparrot also saw the set-top box and the image was transmitted). But on the laptop, I had a version without medicine and as soon as the trial 20 minutes passed, AirParrot simply stopped seeing the console. (Airplay not connected). Also in iTunes (there was no play icon for the console either), but the home collection was from the laptop and the console saw it. In general, I tried to reinstall airparrot, but the result was 0. And the hospital is working fine and transmits an image (I immediately made the medicine on it). What could be the problem? Has anyone come across this?

and there is no mumps on the poppy? :)

The patch for the latest version, checked only on x64, but should work on x32 too. If you write something, I’ll fix itAttached fileairparrot2.patch.by_igorca.zip(228.49 KB)

P.S Strange, why is the topic not in PC programs?

It is strange why such an excellent program has so few reviews.
Is there an alternative to how you can comfortably stream from a PC (on Windows) to Apple TV?
* igorca
What version is it on? Today it does not work.
2.1.3
