Overclocking the processor and memory for Ryzen

Reason for editing: Added Ryzen overclocking

GalogeNspb ,
I advise up to 65 .. about max for process. although 70-75 is possible. but not worth it

at what maximum temperature can the processor function safely?

For any - below 60 on the core. But for some, for example, 80 is the norm ...

I ask the help of KNOWLEDGE. how to correctly get my computer. iron;
CPU Type DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, 2997 MHz (9 x 333)
Asus P5Q SE2 Motherboard
2 strap for gig samsung 667
1 bar kingston 800
Video NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 (512 MB)

A friend drove 8600 to a frequency of 4.33 GHz. This is its maximum safe and effective frequency. From this and build on. If you need more details, I’ll ask. But I will say that the stone is not picky and chase a lot. Here 9650 is very problematic in overclocking.

Rep: (4)
I’m interested in the details. Now the percent power is in the machine, the bus frequency has increased to 400. The operative power is also in the machine, from 667 it has been raised to 800. It seems like the norms, but it slows down somehow. The timings were 5-5-5-5-15 , raised by 6-6-6-6-18 / tire frequency PCIE Frequency fixed at 100

A person who has been engaged in overclocking for a long time, at my request for advice on overclocking, gave a couple of tips:
- let 3600 MHz remain, why?
1. memory is not very
2. mother on nutrition not for dispersal
3. vidyaha is not very
4. this arrangement will not bring the desired power, but only imbalance the system, or may result in the loss of one of the components.
Alas, man, he only gave this. For he was a repeated witness of overheating and degradation of Intel crystals, as a result of chasing power, in view of this he remained an adherent of reasonable dispersal.

Rep: (4)
raised the frequency of the operative to 960 MHz. on this and finished

AMD overclocked to 84xx MHz

Rep: (4)
Maza97, and I scambled mine on 4.5 ... it’s not a problem to solve, will the problem work stably? ...

Rep: (22)
Tell me.
Is it possible to overclock amd fx6100?
Motherboard - asus m5a87

Rep: (883)
Need to! The multiplier is unlocked on all Bulys - raise it and accelerate. Do not forget to monitor the memory frequency and the HT \ NB multipliers. Higher than 1.55v it is strictly not recommended to set the spike. Average overclocking with a slight increase in voltage is about 4.5 GHz. Keep track of temperatures, bulldozers - those are still heaters!

Are you sure that this will be rational? Will the strength and time spent give you the desired result? As experience shows, overclocking such procs is not bad, but the result is not great.

On my Celeron E1200, overclocking from 1600 to 2700 gave the result, but the emphasis is on cache memory, it will be easier with 1Mb against my 512Kb.

Z.Y. Benches have grown, the same GTA IV has become smoother. And on Mac OS X, performance has improved significantly.

this computer is for sale, but the buyer wants an overclocked CPU
if he stayed with me, then I have enough stock and 2GHz

Is this the same manual for E2160 ... or is there no difference in my case?

Try as it is written, they are similar.

Rep: (11)
ST1G,
the other day I’ll try
---
and another question is whether there are any ways to improve performance, preferably under vin7 ??? (characteristics in the signature)
