How to include the Russian language in the menu?

How to enable the display of covers and screenshots in the list of games?
RetroArch (Post bl @ ck_m @ ge # 74906276)
-----------------------------------------------------
How to transfer save to Retroarch with other PS1 emulators or with PSP from PS1 games
-----------------------------------------------------
To play music in Sega CD games in the folder with the image must be a file .cue or audio tracksin wav format
Files should be renamed as XXXNN.wav, XXX NN.wav, XXXNN. wav, XXX - NN.wav or XXX_NN.wav (where NN is the track number, and XXX is the full name of the image).
-----------------------------------------------------
How to improve graphics in playstation games?
To do this, enable in the settings of the PCSX ReARMed kernel the rendering in double resolution:
Quick Menu ->Core Options ->Enhanced Resolution (slow) ON
Sample graphics ->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWO_PoPuu_0
Comparison with normal mode ->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ydxoaHfymU (Watch in HD! ).
!!! This option does not work for interlaced PS1 graphics modes (eg, Tekken 1/2/3, Tobal 2).

If at on Enhanced resolution options you see constant fps drops :
Enable the options in the kernel settingsEnhanced resolution speedhackandFrame duping.
Try to disable inSettings ->Videovertical sync (Vsync off).
Do not use compressed images (pbp, cbn).
If you are playing with a onscreen gamepad, try using low-resolution overlays.Settings ->Overlay Settings ->Overlay Preset ->gamepads ->flat / old.
Disable resource-intensive applications (antiviruses, wizards, data synchronization, heavy launchers ...), unnecessary communication modules. Make sure that the device is not in power saving mode and that applications that limit processor frequencies (SetCPU, NoFrills, etc.) are not used. Try to transfer the processor to the maximum operating mode (performance mode).
-----------------------------------------------------
Overlay / cursor buttons are constantly moving down.
Reduce the size of the overlay to 0.95-0.96:Settings ->Overlay Settings ->Overlay scale

OVERLETS
Overlays are a combination of images (.png) and settings files (.cfg) for displaying on-screen elements of a game system controller.
!!!Overlays cannot be combined. Selecting an overlay frame or effect disables the gamepad overlay, which can make it impossible to navigate the menu.

Overlay Types :
  • borders - decorative frames
  • effects - effect of crt-monitor, imitation of raster lines (do not turn it on when playing from the touchscreen, otherwise you will not be able to control it)
  • gamepads - gaming system controller overlays
  • keyboards - keyboard overlays. Needed to enter text information in the menu and control in some kernels (Dosbox, fMSX ...)
To display additional. screen keyboard overlay go to Settings ->Onscreen Overlay ->Keyboard Overlay Preset and select one of the overlays in the folder keyboards . Enable the option Display Keyboard Overlay . The keyboard overlay will be automatically loaded if you need to enter text information in the menu (search, enter a user name, etc.).

Copy overlay files to/data/data/com.retroarch/overlays/gamepads. If you do not have root-rights, unpack the files in any folder on the device and specify the path toSettings ->Directory ->Overlay dir.
By default, the display of the gamepad overlay in the menu is disabled in the RetroArch settings and the navigation is performed by the sensor. Go toSettings ->Onscreen overlayand disable the optionHide Overlay In Menuif you want the overlay to always be displayed.
The choice of overlay is done with the optionOverlay preset.

orter128, the essence of the video is not in the fact that all of ofigeli smooth emulation on a steep piece of iron (by the way, in the subject of the same FPse quite common to see complaints about the brakes from the owners of the top SGSIII type smarts).
This is a brief example of what, in principle, able to do the frontend. If you have the desire and resources, we will all be grateful for more detailed video review and a comparison with ePSXe and FPse. ;)

To stretch to fill the screen you need to go to settings ( "RetroArch Settings"). Next "Video settings", select "Aspect ratio". Released list, select it in the "Full screen".
I tried to run ps1 games Diablo and NFS Porshe. Hang on startup just before the game.

What is lacking for me personally, namely the fact that it was possible the BIOS from Sonya proikrutit in other emulators. Nelyublyu just when the game without sonivskoy beautiful screensaver run, and Memory card neposmotrish. Direct Sava is good, but the old-fashioned, too hochitsya sohronyat games. What's a bit annoying when you press CONGO nazat nestavit pause the game and throws in the start menu that can be disastrous if neuspel vovpemya sahranitsya.

Photon9 @ 27.01.2013, 20:21*
"Metallic"
But it is necessary to understand that RetroArch only multi-platform frontend for the emulator (roughly speaking - something like the SDL, it only sharpened under the emulators), and in the case of emulation bugs is any problem with speed RA authors of this can not do anything unnecessarily . they emulyatorschiki, and part of the inner workings of the kernel emulation of a particular system, they (almost) do not know how it works there.

From the correspondence in the forums and the logs I see the changes that the developers fix bugs and within nuclei. Correct me if wrong.

fluffyy @ 29.01.2013, 20:58*
here to add specific description of all formats are supported

Supported Roma as in "native" format (.nes, .smd, .bin ...), and in zip archives.
For PS1 images in PBP exactly run, ISO, BIN, BIN.Z, IMG, CUE. IMG.Z questionable.

fluffyy @ 29.01.2013, 20:58*
and even though the game that would run.

A long list of work - one only Playstation was about 8 thousand releases..
C 8-16 bit systems and so all is clear, I think, it makes no sense to write here that "I went to Contra, Super Mario and Tankzors";)

You have to understand that the quality of emulation is quite a subjective thing because of the great number of glands on Android and their differences over the filling, software, and system settings.
Often, the game may not start or fail because of the crooked cracked images to translations. The fact that the lag in the FPSE, may well go for ePSXe, and vice versa.

Duplicator thanks for the feedback. I would be even more grateful for the dozen or so screenshots from different systems (for hats). Sam, alas, I can not do because of the failure device.

I have this simple emulsion Ghastlier brakes. At the same time inhibit the emulators for all types of consoles. Even NES emulator lag is terrible. If you find some - then a maximum of 1-2 frames per second.
What could this be?

Rep: (112)
It's amazing, the PSX works much faster than the GBA ...
I have found no drop frame setting for the GBA emulator, without frame skipping, even on a pc anywhere, and now even more so.
