Information on "Night" firmware
Firmware:
Q:"What is night firmware?".
A:The formula is simple: Last release + current cumulative edits for known issues.

Q:"How is the nightie different from the release?"
A:It is necessary to understand that this is a “draft”. When a new “nightie” is being made, something is fixed or optimized in it, but this firmware (unlike the release version) did not pass the entire set of tests for internal and external compatibility. Drafts, on the other hand, are also correct. Yes, the risk of running into a glitch is higher, but "baubles and fiches" in "nightie" appear much earlier than in releases.
What to use - you choose.

Q:"Where can I get the current nightie?"
A:In the Telegram there is a bot@dlink_rubotdistributing "night" firmware on most current models.

Even if the bot does not distribute the firmware specifically for your model / revision, on the Telegram channelD-Link_RUThere will surely be people who can help you with your question.

Good day, dear forum users!

Help to deal with this situation (or just enlighten, maybe I don’t know something):
There is an old D-Link DIR-300 (iron B1, firmware 2.06 from the official site). When trying to install in the broadcast standard settings802.11n only, no device can connect to the network, although the SSID and signal level sees. Devices: Huawei Ascend G300, Huawei Ascend D1, Archos 80 G9, netbook eMachines 355-N571G25ikk (Atheros AR5B95), which all should support IEEE_802.11b / g / n (that is, n in particular).
With mixed mode on the router (b / g / n), which by default everything works, but the connection speed is 54 Mbps. You can live with it, but I would like to quickly ...
Actually the question is a problem of a router or the standard "n"?
Thank you in advance!

Good day. I bought the DIR-300 D1, I refused to configure Wi-Fi on generic firmware 1.0.4, I fixed it on version 2.0.5 of August 22, 2013, Wi-Fi was configured, connected, but after a short period of time (up to 1 hour) it disconnects and refuses to connect, only restarting the router helps. Can anyone encounter a problem, how is it treated and is it possible to put on it a more stable firmware from another device?

Hello!
The problem is as follows. The Internet on the PC periodically disappears (connected by cable to the D-link dir300 router), but the Internet via wi-fi works. When you restart the computer, everything is normal.

ipconfig

1. With a PC not working inet
2. With a PC running an Internet
3. From the laptop working through wi-fi

At home, the Internet is distributed via wi-fi, d-link dir-300 router. Last night, all devices stopped seeing the network. The problem is exactly in the router, as when connecting the cable directly to the laptop, the Internet works. What I tried to do: - I tried to enter the settings of the router, but did not start up at 192.168.0.1. - I pressed the reset button, but there was no reaction at all.

Found a solution to the problem? I'm not able to enter the Auger. 30/30/30 tried to restart, did not help :(

Yes, d-links lately do not shine with quality. Found here just now an interesting article,https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=36986

This mod in conjunction with openvrt or dd-vrt (it’s still self-assembly) and packages allow you to turn the router into a candy ala kinetics with V1 (well, or 320y d-link for it stitched) Is there anyone with A1 or B1 under open vrt? questions) Yes, revision A1 is the forefather of this mod at 300m)

Good day! I bought this router, myself (!) connected WIFI through a laptop, it worked well. Then I turned everything off, and when I turned it on again, I’ve got WIFI, but I’m not connected to the internet — the pages aren’t loaded. What should I do to automatically connect the Internet, it was not necessary to climb again on 192.168.0.1 (I give the laptop, I will sit with the tablet further and every time I’ll not be able to adjust)

1e-after turning on the router we wait for 5 minutes so that it can connect to the operator (5 minutes is the right time with an ooo huge reserve for loading and reconnection)) if it didn’t help-2e. If the deadline is asked, it’s most likely that there should always be a tick-connected in the Internet settings tab or on demand. Let's set the required profit!)) Well, naturally, when setting up after each change on the page, click something like apply / save. configure all tabs at once and save save-deadlines save only the last change. Well, it would not be bad to know the revision of the router and the connection protocol. It is not necessary to switch off the router, it is created to work 24/7/365 =) We are waiting for the results) work with web interface, check continuously).

DJG,
B1 revision doesn’t know Ny. I’m in the same position as the main one, but they are oldies already. cooling, because it seems to have gotten the whole board, wai wai fell away, I learned from overheating. I gradually look for a replacement for him, then grow up as home appetites, and there are a couple of ideas about him))

Good day! Please tell me who knows. The question may seem silly, but I had nothing to do with WIFI before, much less with routers ...
So: I got WIFI devices. Today I was presented with a D-link dir 300 (used) router, but the ethernet cable was not given. Question: Is it possible to buy it separately and how to choose the right one to fit it?

Can I put on it a more stable firmware from another device?

About another? I strongly doubt, except from other revisions DIR-300 /

The firmware of different revisions are NOT compatible with each other! The reason is the long-distance experiments with iron.

From a modem without a computer? Nik.k. 300m no yusb.tut need a router with a yusb port and the ability to work with this modem.

Look for dlink or wives if you have straight arms and can sew from the recovery mode or dvvrt. All those who allegedly broke the 300-tnik: these routers often die not themselves, but through the power supply. Try to find bp and check, you will get 60 percent of your pet.
The last 300s are still raw on them, but they have a bit too much trouble with a ppt or a ltp connection, although they have set up a Wi-Fi ...
And without changing the speed, remember, in this procedure, the two ends play a role. And the receiver and the router ..

Haha !!! I did it !!!!!! everything is simple. Maybe you did not understand me and therefore did not help.
So I did it.
1. inserted 3ji into the laptop
2.Connected a router to the laptop (poshamanila in the settings of the router)
3.voyala !!! Router distributes wifi! :-D :-D
If you suffer for a long time ....: happy:

Well, it is understandable to transfer the router to the repeater, and he himself hoots the Internet from the laptop through any port, through others to the Internet, at the same time pretending to be an access point) need, you can connect them through it, and through the ports the router will distribute the Internet through the laces)) But in any case, well done, for it’s very difficult for most: D

PS, but can we draw a hat with third-party firmware for devices? The 300s are very popular now, besides there are iron hacks for some revisions)

The whole Internet has not found a solution to his problem. I do not know whether I am writing here or not, well, in principle, what now is the difference.

So, I have a D-Link Dir-300 (B3) router, firmware 2.06 was installed, very buggy ... I decided to downgrade to 2.05. All set up, the Internet works, but does not distribute it over the air (I mean via Wi-Fi). The Wai Fay distribution indicator does not light up accordingly ... Everything works great through the wire. Already tried to do reset, ports changed, encryption, etc.

Maybe this is the fault of the router itself? Or did I do something wrong?
