What is a "ban" - seriously

Ban(English ban, / bæn / - to prohibit, to declare outlaws) is one of the methods of control over the actions of users accepted on the Internet. As a rule, a ban denies or restricts any user rights (to create / send new messages or create new topics on a web forum, send messages in a chat, comment on blogs, etc.).
