Toshiba AC100 - Alternative OS. Installation, configuration, software

Attached Image

Customization
If you use Ubuntu, the most convenient will be installing updates from the official repository.
There is an official version from nvidia, but at the moment I don’t know about its ability to work. Based on it, there is the phh distribution, but today it has almost no advantages.
Dualboot at Toshiba 100-117
CPU frequency control
All current manuals on WIKI
Ubuntu put so
Core changes
3.1.10:nvidia
  • Works USB-Network (modprobe g_cdc)
  • Suspend -?
3.2.x
  • works, with blobs there is support for gles and omx
  • no uboot bye
>=3.8
  • fbdev, initial 3d support somewhere on the mainline path
  • uboot

Worth Ubuntu 12.04 daily builds, how do I measure CPU temperature?
Lm-sensors are installed, but do not detect temperature sensors, actually when entering the sensors command, it writes that it is impossible to determine temperatures, so there are no sensors (supposedly).
On ubuntu 11.04, even though this program did not detect any sensors, it somehow produced the core temperature via the sensors command.
How can I be, immediately say, other similar programs (for example acpi) are either not installed or anything else?

The same as before - does not determine anything, and Sensors - not sensors found ...

Well, figs with her, with this temperature, there is another question - if you make yourself cool. stand - where to direct the flow of air - in the gap of the speakers or just to the bottom surface (approximately where the processor is located), which option will be more effective?
Kernel default?

Yes.

Made, under the processor, copes with a bang, but did not drill holes, and then I will sort it out, but it is unlikely to come back. I took a cooler from the processor (12 v) from under the old system unit, I brought the contacts to the usb connector, as a result, the stand works from the usb port with Toshiba, there is no noise). Who needs it, I can explain how to make a cooler working from usb (wiring).

Well, so that the connector does not occupy a better place in the mini-stick?

Mark made some commits about this, it is strange that they did not enter the off-core. : |

Yes, I don’t need it, flash drives can stick the stand off and I need a mouse, I’m used to the touchpad already.

But I'm not sure. There is no need to power the mini-USB slave device. But you have to try.

Hey.
I concluded that the archik from the wiki is very raw and returned to 11.10
Therefore, the idea was to use xbmc as a shell.
There is a plugin that allows you to run linuhov programs / scripts, it works smartly, the blinking is defeated - so it’s all for yourself ...
Does anyone have a thread of experience?
