How to make a quick launch dock? To begin, let's do a simple dock for three icons.
Create a folder on the workstation and call it "Doc" (or otherwise), then copy the icons of the future buttons (in .PNG format) in this folder and in the same folder
create a text file. Then open it, and press Ctrl + S (Save as).
Enter the Dock.ini in the "File name", select "All files (*. *)" In the "File type", and click Save.
Now we have everything to create a skin - namely: a file with the .ini extension, icons and a folder where it is all folded.
Just write the code. Open the ini file, at the beginning write the title
[Rainmeter]
Author = Maestro-Sky
AppVersion = 1.1
Update = 1000
AppVersion- here we are writing the earliest version, because Our future skin will fit any version.
Updateset by default.
Variables, Substitute, Measure- skip, because we have nothing to calculate, translate, etc.
Now you need to create a background (Image). By the way, the background finisher automatically determines the boundaries and dimensions of our skin with this background. We call the new block [Image] (brackets are required).
In the next line we indicate the "Meters" function of this block, namely Meter = Image.
Now the background color (think! On black wallpaper, you will search for a black background for a long time! The line will look like this: SolidColor = 250,250,250,100 transparency 100 is set so that you can see icons through (background),
which it can close during editing.
Set the parameters "X" and "Y". Since this background is better to always put 0, if you put for example "X = 500"
the skin cannot be moved to the left edge of the workstation.X = 0, Y = 0.
Parameters "W" "H" (Width and height of the background). Approximately this is 3 icons (for example) with 40 pixels each. + Distance
between them and the edges at 5 pixels. = 140 pixels. Height 1 icon 40 pixels., Top and bottom 5 pixels = 50 each. W = 140, H = 50.
This is what should work:
[Image]
Meter = Image
SolidColor = 250,250,250,100
X = 0
Y = 0
W = 140
H = 50
It's time to torment the icons. The parameters are the same as the background, but instead of the color we write the name of the icon.
We write "Raina" what we want [Ikon], how we want Meter = Image and what we want ImageName (icon name). The name of the icon should be written
absolutely the same (what is in the folder), so it is better to click P.M. on the desired icon, then rename and skip
Name ImageName = Icon name. PNG. It is also necessary to prescribe what we want from the icon when clicking on it with the mouse.
Write the command-LeftMouseDownAction, execute-! Execute
and in brackets the path to the folder, exe, ... .LeftMouseDownAction =! Execute ["D: \ Music \"]. In this case
When you click on the icon, a folder with music on the "D" disc will open. Set the "W" "H" parameters to 40 pixels each (see above).
Now "X" and "Y". Since we put the first icon, the "X" parameter should be = 5 (from the left edge of the background). And the "Y" is also = 5.
Let's see what happened:
[Ikon]
Meter = Image
ImageName = Music.PNG
W = 40
H = 40
X = 5
Y = 5
LeftMouseDownAction =! Execute ["D: \ Music \"]
The second icon. The name Meter (Ikon) should not be repeated in the skin, otherwise the program will select any one Meter, in her opinion
the more important one and the second one just loses it and won't show it. So let's get the Meter [Ikon2]. Change the icon (the name of the icon)
Then everything is like with the first icon, only the "X" parameter and a link to the folder should be different. Read. From the left edge to the 1st
icons 5, the icon itself 40 and the distance between the icons 5 pix. it will turn out X = 50. We change the path to the folder, it turned out:
[Ikon2]
Meter = Image
ImageName = Videos.PNG
W = 40
H = 40
X = 50
Y = 5
LeftMouseDownAction =! Execute ["D: \ Video"]
And the last icon. Rename the name Meter [Ikon3]. Change the name of the Documents icon. PNG. We calculate the coordinate "X",
(2 icons of 40 pixels each and 3 intervals of 5 each). We change the path to the folder in the "execute" line.
[Ikon3]
Meter = Image
ImageName = Documents.PNG
W = 40
H = 40
X = 95
Y = 5
LeftMouseDownAction =! Execute ["C: \ Users \ wasek \ Documents"]
The dock is ready, you can try it in work. Copy the folder in Documents \ Rainmeter \ Skins, update the Rainmeter. We include the skin.
Along the edges of the icons we left 5 pixels. You can drag the skin for these places, when adding icons you need to increase
parameter "x" on the background.
Optionally, you can remove the background (transparency-001, the eye does not see and the mouse feels), make completely non-transparent
or draw a dock (format PNG) in Photoshop and set the picture instead of the background. It will be necessary to only prescribe ImageName = ...
and SolidColor = ... delete. The sizes of icons, background (dock) and the number of icons are limited only by the size of your monitor.
We had quite a nice dock.
