Hello! It is known that intra-channel headphones have a bad feature over time, the earwax gets clogged up and starts to sound quiet. I found a video in the Internet in which a guy shows how to make a container with 2 plugs and electrical tape, but I didn’t like his method, because every time you clean, you need to cut electrical tape, and I decided to make my more practical option.

Components:
1. Any cork from a plastic bottle. I took from Morshyn.
2. Paper clip, nail, needle, etc. It is necessary to straighten the paper clip so that it is straight, and at the end make a bend for comfortable holding.
3. A plastic card. Any plastic card, such as (bank, payphone) will do.

First, take the lid, clip and go to the kitchen. Turn on the gas on the stove and heat the paper clip to start glowingas a new year tree. We make small indentations as in the photo (diameter of the indentations, select individually, depending on the cable width of your drops). Next, take a plastic card and cut a strip2,7see in length and1,5cm wide. Insert the partition in the center of the cork and firmly fix it. You fill the container with hydrogen peroxide, alcohol up to about half, insert the headphones and leave it for an hour. After you take the 2nd clothespins and in the center of each earpiece and let them dry. At the end of the photo device.

You can also suck up excess fluid with a vacuum / syringe or with your mouth.

And why a partition?

For easy fixation of the headphones inside the cork! If this is not done, then due to the fact that the cord loves to twist, the earpiece can simply roll over and the peroxide gets on the speaker.

Ah, got it. But do all the headphones have different sizes?

That's right. Therefore, if the headphones are larger than the diameter, then in general, the partition can not be used. I have a Sennheiser CX200 II Street White headset, and as you can see in the photo, their size is small, so the partition helped me to eliminate the vibrations.

Here is the headphone grid after cleaning.

In the morning I made a nozzle for a vacuum cleaner, so as not to wait until the headphones are dry, and immediately pump out the remnants of peroxide from them.

For this gadget, you need a pen and a crevice nozzle from a vacuum cleaner.

maybe all the same earphones or earplugs?

I completely agree with you, but I see no reason to rename it, because if I enter “Headphone cleaning” in my search, then my guide is at the very top of the search results. ;)

The vacuum is created when the earphone is inserted into the ear, thereby blocking out external sounds. It is clear that the earpiece itself cannot be vacuum, but the silicone ring, which is placed over the earpiece, when intimate contact with the ear canal, creates a hermetic barrier. Coming out of this, the headphones are in the form of drops and are called vacuum ones.

Vacuum(from lat. vacuum -emptiness) - space free from substance.

hermetic barrier

It's right! So it is better to call them "hermetic" or "plugs", or (as it is correct) intra channel(Intra channel headphones -http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%92%D0%BD%...%B8%D0%BA%D0%B8 )

My apologies that the photo does not show a real change, the very structure of the earpiece and the location of the grid are to blame.

Bottom line: Everything is super! : yes2: soundreally (not straight kanesh at times, but ...)improved! Visually, you can assess the purity(not so noticeable in the photo) :)
Thanks to the author: thank_you:
CatchPicture ;)

P.S.
Now, with caution, they included: D Although they dried for 2 days, moreover, immediately after I took them out of the "bath" with a vacuum cleaner, I pulled out moisture (peroxide).

Guys, I saw this topic on the forum, and yesterday I decided to clean my Sennheiser CX 300-II headphones too.
But not how I did here, but as follows:
In short, I piped vodka onto a speaker with a cotton swab, then I cleaned it with a wand, dipped the speaker a little into the cork with vodka, pulled out a drop that hung on the speaker, and turned the speaker down with a drop to drop it overnight to dry.
As a result, the next day 1 speaker is quieter than the other, the sound is muffled: (
What could cover up there something? ((

It is a pity to spoil like this with your own hands, what is called "you are not looking for good from the good" ((
It’s one thing if they broke themselves, and so, they played great and then cleaned it called ((

What to do? Can dry out yet or remove the bezel to see? What could have deteriorated there, there is probably a charge inside and the wiring is soldered, everything ((

Thanks for the article, I cleaned it. The truth is, the question is, I didn’t pour much acid for the first time. Regarding my picture at the 4-D level, it was. There were two questions on what level they should be dipped, 1,2,3 4? And why dry in a clothespin, the vacuum cleaner pulls out the dirt with a handle, and it just dries up and everything, like so?
