Step-by-step firmware update Yota
In order to replace the software of the Yota LTE LU 150 modem, you first need to download the latest firmware.
Current firmware 2.8depositfiles.comorletitbi.net

Next, we connect the modem to the computer and wait for the device to be fully initialized.
In the next step, you need to type a string in any browserhttp://status.yota.by/manualupdate. (If you are a resident of Belarus)
andhttp://status.yota.ru/manualupdate(For residents of Russia)
You will see a window in which you click the “Browse” button and select the previously downloaded file from your computer.
Next, click the update button and watch the installation of new software.
After a full and final upgrade of the modem's firmware, you need to reconnect the modem to your computer.
This is where the entire process of installing new software on the Yota One LTE LU 150 modem can be considered complete.

And somebody figured out with this modem, how to attach an external antenna to it, support says that it’s just as unconventional as the old one can, which is still working now, but something I twisted it differently, I don’t see how and where .. Without an external antenna, I don’t have an Internet connection at all, it’s even scary what will happen after April 15

Here, disassembled your modem. On the Yota LU 150, there were connectors suspiciously resembling Samsung U200 pigtail connectors, but several times smaller.

A small instruction how to disassemble the Yota LU 150:

1) open the USB port of the modem

2) we wrap the modem with one hand and try to push the USB connector inwards with the second hand. Total:

3) On the left we see the latch latch, they must be gently unbent. Very flimsy, I bent my everything from 1 time :-( the same on the other side of the modem:

4) Disconnect the cover with effort, it besides the latches also sits on a kind of double-sided tape:

5) After that, the modem card easily comes out from the USB connector side:

6) left to unscrew the bolt. which fixes the board in the case (on the right, unscrewed), bend the latches on the left, where the yellow PCB is, and the board can be removed:

There is also a USB connector, but I could not make it out, and I didn’t try too hard, I poked it. There was still some kind of viscous substance on it, no picture was taken, it was removed well.

I connect - a CD drive appears for a short time, which disappears immediately, the drivers are installed via Windows Update, the NDIS adapter appears in the network adapters, which has the IP address assigned by the DHCP server 10.0.0.1, but there is no access to anything, including the yota page. Gateway 10.0.0.1 pinged.

Actually the question is what to do next?

I ordered this modem ... the courier brought everything super ... they called the provider they said that from April 15th it would be possible to use

just open a window to activate the modem and that's it.

But is it possible to pull out a WiMAX netbook and insert a board from a LTE flash drive modem into the case ???
