Why does it work on one phone / tablet without a proxy, but not on the other?
Unfortunately, many Android devices can not accept multicast, this is a limitation of the firmware, and nothing can be done about it. Use a proxy or look for an alternative firmware with multicast support.

Since the ability to receive multicast streams is a feature of the firmware, it is quite possible that the new firmware cannot accept multicast. Use a proxy or look for an alternative firmware with multicast support.

If you use an open playlist from the forums, then this is a common phenomenon, because open playlists are often banned by providers when the server load increases. If you watch TV from an Internet provider through a UDP proxy, then make sure that the proxy is up and running and the IP address of the computer with the proxy has not changed. It is also quite possible that the problems are on the provider’s side. To check, open the same playlist on the computer usingIP-TV Player for Windows.

The playlist file from the sd-card constantly disappears, why is this happening and how to deal with it?
The fact is that Android itself scans the contents of m3u files, while it "cleans" playlists, removing links to non-existent files. In our case, the playlist contains not files, but web links, and they are all deleted by Android, after which the file itself is also deleted, because becomes empty. In order to prevent this from happening, you need to create an empty ".nomedia" file in a directory, and put a playlist in the same directory. Then the contents of the directory will not be scanned and the file will not be deleted. Another way is to put a playlist in the directory starting with a dot. You can not even copy the playlist to the sd card, and put it in any online storage with direct links, Dropbox public link is fine.

Does the program work everywhere where there is Wi-Fi or only in the local network of a particular provider?
Depends on playlist. Internet providers playlists will most likely work only in the local network of the provider. With open playlists, with playlists of services like Baton-TV, etc. Will work wherever there is Wi-Fi. With some playlists, you can even work on 3G.

What is the difference between a pro version and a regular one?

How to setup:
- First of all, you need a list of channels of your provider. If you watch IPTV on your computer, then you probably already haveIP-TV Player. You can edit the playlist manually. Download it to your phone in this way:
1. Downloading IP-TV Player Remote Serverfrom hereand install it on the computer. By default, the playlist from your player will be used, but you can set your own file.
2. Enter the address of the channel listhttp: //<computer address>: 1331 / playlist /(note, the '/' symbol is required at the end!) This will work with the user channel list or if the "Update on startup" option is disabled in the player
