Running a full-fledged Windows XP SP3 Pro

Rep: (160)
Run a full-fledged Windows XP SP3 Professional

READ ALL SHAPE BEFORE WHAT YOU DO!

Foreword
This method is completely working, was written by me because of the lack of good instructions.

To start the required
  1. Normal, properly working brain
  2. Hands growing from the right place
  3. Powerful enough device
  4. To run Windows itself (on the device) 13-18 minutes

Instructions
Basic instructions for starting Windows
Difficult but universal way
First we need to create (.img) an image of Windows.
  1. Downloading QEMU for company
  2. Create a folder qemu on drive C and extract everything from the archive there.
  3. Go to the folder via the console
    Tricky way
    Win XP: Start>perform>cmd
Win 7: press the Win + R buttons, write cmd and click on OK
    We write in the console
    cd c: \ qemu
Easy way, but works only on Win 7
    1. Go to the qemu folder (not necessarily on drive C)
    2. Hold Shift, click on an empty place of an open folder, right-click
    3. In the menu that opens, click on "Open command window"

  4. Create a hard disk image - we write in the console
    qemu-img create -f raw disk.img 2000M
    Where
    disk.img - hard disk name
2000M - size in megabytes (the size can be anything, as long as the Windows fit, but 2000M is just.)

  5. Create a (.iso) image from the Windows XP installation disk (look in Advanced) and rename it to image.iso
  6. Copy it to the folder c: \ qemu
  7. If in c: \ qemu there is a disk image and a hard disk image, then we start QEMU - we write in the console
    qemu.exe -m 1024 -boot d -cdrom image.iso -hda disk.img
    Where
-m 1024 - the amount of RAM available QEMU
    -boot d - boot from cd-rom
-cdrom image.iso - our installation CD
-hda disk.img - hard disk image

  8. Install XP as usual
Formatting in NTFS is mandatory (do not be lazy, it is very fast)

Windows image creation is complete.
We take out disk.img from c: \ qemu and copy to smart

Now we set up smart
Downloading BOCHS for Android
Download SDL:Attached fileSDL.zip(47.85 KB)

Installation:
  1. Install apk
  2. Unpack the SDL archive in sdcard / SDL
  3. disk.img move to sdcard / SDL
  4. Editing the bochsrc.txt file
    Don't touch anything, only here:
    # what disk images will be used
    #floppya: 1_44 = W98RUS.img, status = inserted
change the name of the image, so:
    # what disk images will be used
    #floppya: 1_44 = disk.img, status = inserted
    and here:
    ata0-master: type = disk, path = "c.img"
    change to:
    ata0-master: type = disk, path = "disk.img"

  5. All save and run Bochs

We are waiting for: happy: and enjoy !!

Easy way
WinXP 7 style and HDD-512mb
  1. Download (if not downloaded before) BOCHS and install
  2.
Download everything these archives (this is 1 archive divided into 3 parts): First part , the second part of , the third part .
Throw everything downloaded in P.2 into one folder(any) and from the first archive (SDL.part01.rar) extract everything
    [*]
    Whole archive
Simply download and everything is retrieved.

[*] We see the extracted SDL folder, go into it, see another SDL(here we throw it into the root of the memory card of your smart)
    [*] Run BOCHS
    [*] And wait

The hard disk (HDD.img) "just" cannot be deleted from the SDL folder, it is also registered in bochsrc.txt, but if you have done this, BOCHS will stop running

Control
Touchscreen smartphone = Touchpad laptop
If you click on the lower left corner of the screen, the Wirth will appear. keyboard, and if the upper left corner, then this is equivalent to pressing TAB
Also, the emulator uses hard buttons: Back = BackSpace, Menu = Enter and Volume buttons = Left and right mouse buttons.
[/ color]

Additional emulator features
Connecting an additional hard drive
ATTENTION! Hard disk on Win 95 can not connect!

Tricky way
  1. Download ready images of hard drives
  2. Unpack the one you like and rename it to HDD.img
  3. We throw in the folder SDL on a smart
  4. Editing the bochsrc.txt file
    We find these lines here:
    #floppyb: 1_44 = floppyb.img, status = inserted
    change to:
    #floppyb: 1_44 = HDD.img, status = inserted
    and here:
    # ata0-slave: type = disk, path = "d.img
    change to:
    ata0-slave: type = disk, path = "HDD.img

Easy way
  1. We go to Advanced
  2. Click on Ready (customized) SDL
  3. We read and download (then I think you will understand what to do)

Connecting CD-ROM
  1. We go to Advanced
  2. Click on Ready (customized) SDL
  3. We read and download (then I think you will understand what to do)

Installing your programs on emulated Windows
On the computer we write in the console
cd c: \ qemu
then
qemu.exe -m 1024 -boot d -cdrom image.iso -hda disk.img
Where
image.iso image with programs, and disk.img is your Windows (for which programs are needed)

Additionally
Windows builds (not mine)
WinXP 7 style
MicroXP
Here isheremany more.

Ready (customized) SDL
Attached fileSdl.rar (45.52 KB)
(Just unpack to the root of the memory card)
Default names: for hard disk with Windows - disk.img, for additional hard disk - HDD.img, for CD-ROM - image.iso
For the normal operation of the emulator in the SDL folder must be: disk.img and HDD.img, without them crashes

Ready Hard Disk Images
Attached fileBochs_HDD.rar (14.4 KB)

Utility for creating .iso images from the program folder or from the Windows XP installation disk

Screenshots

Conclusion
  The way is completely working.
There is no practical application in it!
(It is impossible to launch any hard programs or games in emulated Windows XP!)

Rep: (160)
Robo22,
I tried on my Sony Ericsson XPERIA neo, after downloading, you still have to wait until Bochs installs the drivers on the percent emulated by it, the video adapter and the mouse then ask for a reboot, but this was on a regular XP SP3 Professional.
At the ready this was not.

zel193,
It slows down due to the small frequency of the process (emulated) of 6 MHz. I tried to change, but the visualization gets worse, but it loads faster, but not much -_-

Did you fix it?

Rep: (2)
NeOMaX312, Nah: D

Rep: (160)
zel193,
What did you change in bochsrc.txt

Rep: (2)
NeOMaX312, There is nothing. Everything started, it turns out the image is dead or bios: blush:

Rep: (2)
NeOMaX312, And if it gives more RAM to it, then it will be faster to load?

Rep: (160)
zel193,
No, I gave 256, 200, 216,190 and with not long work I threw out Bochs.

Rep: (2)
NeOMaX312, Clear)
