native SSD is very slow in comparison

Half of the chips are soldered, the controller does not use all channels. That's slow.

Rep: (252)
People who are interested and up to date with the topic, please write (or give a link to the info) for the FAQ, which games in which form on the device are going fine.
And then on the topic are scattered such crumbs that FIG collect.

Actually, in the bottom line: if you want the MSI 110W to work as it really can, thenneed to change SSD.

Map 6250 just. With N support which. Drivers from the Intel server. For Wi-Fi 14.2.0.10, for Weimax 6.5. In general, they are the last.

In general, it does not allow to load the system normally

We managed to win like this: put firewood 13.1, turn off the N mode.
This is on other laptops the whole series of adapters is buggy if the N mode is enabled and the access point knows only about G.

Yes, at MSI I already read it. The question is, where can I get 13.1 (without N, of course, not an ice, not an ice at all, but it can still be working even without N)?

Colleagues, but about covers like a folder - who will say something? Where did such miracles appear?
For some iPads, darkness, but nevermind.

link

I will try

I tried it - it did not help. Depends exactly the same after connecting to my access point.

I decided to move in the direction of two adapters. I thrust Intel instead of GPS. I think I will use the same antennas - regular ones, only you need to solder to them.

The only inconvenience is that in order to connect WiMax you need to disconnect WiFi from Atheros in the device. It is not yet clear how to do this normally, automatically.

Rep: (29)
So, still I was able to cross two nastiness into one.
Namely, I got wimax from Intel on the windpad.
6250, a fiend of hell, was stuck in a GPS slot. As I understand it, it connects there via USB. Atheros remained in its original place.

Antennas had to be soldered with wires to the protective screen. In the apartment he catches an iota for 4 sticks. Which is generally not bad.

Now WiMax and Wi-Fi work simultaneously, with priority on Wi-Fi.

However, I ran into a misunderstanding, initially Vaymaks did not want to turn on, he said something about "Turn on the pzh-hundred radio network switch." Of course, we don’t have such a switch. It turned on itself after the device’s sleep. What is the reason for this is not clear.

I'm going to put in my copyhttp://www.ocztechnology.com/ocz-nocti-msata-ssd.html
The only thing that confuses is that the power consumption in active mode is 1.7 while waiting for 0.5. Regular SanDisc consume much less. I wonder how much this difference will affect the duration of the tablet. The ocz nocti write and read speed is certainly impressive.
I still really haven’t bought a tablet yet, but I’ll take it next week. I would like to hope that I come across with a soldered SIM slot. If this happens, then I already have 2 applicants for a place in miniPCI next to the SIM slot.
1. http://viewitem.eim.ebay.ru/HuaWei-EM770-E...0556996360/item
I found out that this particular (HuaWei EM770) 3G module uses MSI in bundling with 3G over the hill. At the very bottom of the page to which I gave the link, it is clear that there is an antenna in the kit with the modem.
2. http://viewitem.eim.ebay.ru/Qualcomm-Gobi-...0731957933/item
Here we see a used module 1000 cheaper than HuaWei. It has EV-DO and AGPS. Only in the kit I do not see the antenna. And it is not known whether it is needed, maybe the unlocked tablet has its own antenna, only it needs to be connected to the 3g module who knows. On the first pages of the forum topic, there are pictures of the insides of the tablet and it is clearly seen that the antenna wire is suitable for the gps module. Is there an antenna in the tablets where the sim is soldered and the miniPCI slot is empty?

Rep: (8)
Limbio, there is only one antenna in the tablet - under GPS. Under 3g, you need one more. In principle, a piece of wire with a connector will be enough. Or look at the finished whale on the same fuck.
ultraboss, tady OH! I can hear without amplification but only at close range. At maximum speed - sensitivity is high at a distance of about a meter.

Limbio, well, for example, this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3G-WWAN-antenna-MC...=item35a5eab5b8

Vadab, very strange. I on 32 "deduced on hdmay - I scaled everything without problems.

Rep: (47)
There is no in-between electronics. On a miniPCI-E slot according to the standard 5 (reserve up to 7) legs go directly to the SIM slot. It is clear that only one miniPCI-E is divorced there.

And the adapter is rather applied to the miniPCI-E contacts "in parallel".

Rep: (0)
Here is another place where they sell the adapter and here you can see it in large detail
http://vbay.ru/items/100281351421473.htm
it turns out the price wrap in order to make 3g big:
adapter 1700r
modem Huawei 3G EM770 - firewood on such on the MSI website are - 3300r
How much does the antenna cost?
A version with 3g is probably not 6-7 thousand rubles more expensive.

I strongly doubt that Acer changed anything except the processor.

Why sobsno? Just being equipped with another SSD model is the easiest thing to do. After all, suppliers are updating the catalog. A lot of time has passed since the release of the version with the C-50; faster SSDs could already go on sale at good prices.
I don’t pretend here to uncover the Illuminati conspiracy plot in Acer :), but from a marketing point of view, the topic would be beautiful: give out a tablet with an updated processor (with turbo function!), Quietly speed it up with a new SSD ... and collect enthusiasm about the increased performance (try explaining to people about a faster SSD, but a faster processor - well, like, everyone understands). ;)

The option with a faster SSD, by the way, is indicated by the acceleration of the Windows interface. There is not enough mathematics there. Graphics accelerated by Vidyaha. But the current tradition of writing software, when some unfortunate "calculator" drags a bunch of small and not very XML, HTML, CSS, PNG and figs still knows what, they create nifig requirements for the speed of reading from the drive.

Sorry, I did not change, but since others are silent, at least I will tell you something.
The header contains a link to the Japanese Wiki-site on MSI 110W, there is a section about successfully used RAM modules (there is, in particular, Crucial 4GB PC3-10600). I see no reason that yours would not fit. Well, you will protect yourself from the unfortunate accident of figs, all one.

PCI Express slots: get 2 - ssd and zhps? Or 3?

There is a suspicion that PCI Express is only 2 - on wifi and on the dock.
who would expect such a tricky answer?

But the Mini-PCIE slots - 3 pcs. 2 full-size ssd + gps and half wifi.

Probably Wifi combined with GPS and SSD.

I apologize for not unsubscribing yesterday - the Internet was turned off.

So in order.

1. I decided to replace ssd. I put it like this:
http://ark.intel.com/products/56546/Intel-...Gbs-34nm-MLC%29

The image from the native ssd was transferred by the acronix.
Before replacing, I conducted several tests and this is what happened:

but. Data transfer rates tested by AIDA 64
native sandisk new intel
Linear reading 140.8 198.7
(average, MB / s)
Random reading 188.4 224.2
(MB / s)
Average access time 0.47 0.13
(ms)
b. Battery life tested with Battery Eater pro
native sandisk new intel
Energy Saver 2 hours 59 minutes 3 hours 27 minutes
(backlight minimum
the periphery is off,
program mode
classic full screen
1280x800)

2. The SSD in the mini PCIe connector could not be started - there is no sata there. In order not to lose the guarantee and money, I ordered myself such an unusual adapter:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/110750651430?ssPag...984.m1497.l2649

3. Wi-Fi just killed me when testing the speed - on the 54 Mb / s channel I couldn’t squeeze more than 12 megabits / s from it. I ordered intel 6230 like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/130574887082?ssPag...984.m1497.l2649

4. The screen really gets badly awful! I ordered this film:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/320721009370?ssPag...984.m1497.l2649

How everything comes - I will unsubscribe about the results!

P.s. the microphone inside is attached simply on 2 wires - soldering there is more sensitive is not a problem. Those whose microphone does not work well - look for a "donor" and I will help with the replacement. Of course about. Warranty will not be able to go :)
