I think it's time to start trying in every way to improve our tablet with firmware and various tweaks.
I suggest all owners of this device to jointly fill the cap with their instructions and experience.

Backup and get root using nvflash

The first thing you need to do is backup!

Attention!!! Despite the fact that everything will be painted "on the shelves," and all actions are checked personally on my tablet (1GB / 16GB), you do everything at your own peril and risk !!!
Those. This resource does not bear any responsibility for the unsuccessfully performed actions.
But, if anything, always help to recover)
General description of the procedure
The drivers for the APX mode are suitable for all versions of Windows.
Everything has been checked more than once and questions about the "incompatibility" are not solved here. Look for problems in your system.

Any actions in the APX mode can be performed only once !!! Those. after each batch job execution, you need to re-enter APX mode

All executable files in the archive are designed to work in Windows.

What is in the archive?
Nvflash with the necessary libraries and firmware files; batch files (* .bat), which will need to run. Superuser does not need to be updated, the latest version, 3.0.7, will be installed. Su need to upgrade

What sections are the internal memory of the device divided into:
02 (BCT) - flash.bct file
03 (PT) - partition configuration file
04 (EBT) - bootloader.img, bootloader
05 (GP1) - ???
06 (SOS) - recovery.img, Recover
07 (LNX) - boot.img, the kernel and everything connected with it
08 (APP) - system.img, system partition
09 (CAC) - cache, does not need to be restored
10 (MSC) - ???
11 (CUS) - system partition with customization files for the manufacturer
12 (UDA) - the main part of the internal memory, 14 GB (not stored by default)
13 (GPT) - ???

Procedure
1) Download DNS_P100_nvflash in the "Drivers and Utilities" section in the header. Unpack it into any folder (for example C: \ android)
In the future, this utility will be used everywhere; it will only be necessary to download various scripts.
2) Download the DNS_P100_root scripts in the header and unpack it into the same folder (C: \ android).
3) Download the .andriod.zip archive in the header and unzip it to the C: \ Users \% username% \ folder
4) Connect the tablet in APX mode, for this:
- connect the tablet to the computer via microUSB
- remove the cover of the SIM card and flash card
- with something thin (I use a toothpick) press the Recovery button
- at the same time press the Reset button
- release both buttons
A new APX device will appear in the Device Manager, update the driver by pointing to the USB APX Driver folder in the C: \ android folder.
5) Download the tablet and install the driver for the TabletPC, pointing to the USB ADB Driver folder in the C: \ android folder(required for root access. Optional for firmware)
6) Run Backup & root v1.bat
In the menu that appears, select the desired item to perform.
For boot.img and recovery.img backup, select item 1
To restore from backup - 2
For getting the root - items 4,5,6 (in that order)
For anruta - 4,3,6.
For a complete flashing of the tablet - 9 (All data is erased!)

For information, thanks to our forum in the face of ZBEP and xda in the face of TheHamster & Brk;)

I try to make a backup of the system, I launch the file (! Full Backup), I register (y), I press (Enter), but the window is instantly minimized and nothing happens, I enter APX mode, the batch files are working. I'm trying to figure it out.

Hello!
tipokSpark shared a link to XDA:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1407234
There seemed to be laid out instructions for obtaining the root.
As I understand it, you need to install the driver, backup it, then copy “Backup.bct”, ”bootloader.img” and ”part-7.img” to the folder “Duke TA8 Files \ Root Duke \ Root \” and then run ” 1 Enable ADB.bat "," 2 Send Superuser.bat "..
So, I missed the step with backup and immediately performed Step 1, Step 2, as a result, the tablet does not enter the normal mode and transmits Malevich.

Tell me what you can do?
In theory, I need the original files "Backup.bct", "bootloader.img" and "part-7.img", so that I can successfully complete the "3 reset original boot - non ADB.bat".
Help someone, make backup from your tablet and upload 3 of these files somewhere, I will try to recover.

Or if there is any other way to restore the normal operation of the tablet - share.
Thank you in advance!

Ps
Link to download files for backup and get root with XDA:Tyk

I made a backup, copied the file “part-7.img” to the folder “Duke TA8 Files \ Root Duke \ Root \” and launched “1 Enable ADB.bat”
As a result, it does not load again.
Copied with the replacement in the folder "Duke TA8 Files \ Root Duke \ Root \" file: "Backup.bct" and launched the "1 Enable ADB.bat"
Everything loaded fine.

Second step:
Launched "2 Send Superuser.bat":
C: \ Users \ ZBEP \ Desktop \ Duke TA8 Files \ Root Duke>cd root_app
C: \ Users \ ZBEP \ Desktop \ Duke TA8 Files \ Root Duke \ root_app>adb remount
error: device not found
...
error: device not found

USB Debug Drivers - Installed.
USB Debugging - Enabled.
Why is it so - xs.

On xda, the backup is not quite correctly made!
Just take a file for the backup from the tablet Viewsonic Gtab, and our device has a partition for backup different from the one mentioned above!

P.S. Although in principle all the necessary partisens are saved ..

Well, as I understandkhronosrx8I could get a root on that XDA instruction.

Ps
StillThehamsterwrote that the Android folder should be in the "C: / Users / User name /".
Why is there, is not it just on the "C: /"?
I have a "C: / android /", maybe because of this in the second step I have "error: device not found"?
Now there is no time to check, only in the evening I can.
