All stock firmware can be installed through stock recovery. Lowering is not necessary.

I did it a long time, I don’t remember the details, but I recorded the sequence. Probably something will not work from the market. Firmware 4.0.3 by the way can be taken off site. I last flashing, took it.

3) Run EUUS from folder 3.2.1 and install the stock Russian firmware.
4) Go to the tablet settings and reset it to the factory settings.
5) We throw the file Acer_AV041_A500_1.031.00_WW_GEN1.zip on the card, after renaming it to update.zip. We set Android 4.0.3 again to reset the factory settings and rejoice.

6) In the settings, we again reset the system and throw on the card
