Instructions for installing the firmware

All files for the firmware are in the header.Only flash with Windows 7 to avoid problems. USB 3.0 firmware is currently not possible.
1) Turn off your HTC Radar.
2) Turn on your HTC Radar while simultaneously pressing the volume up and down keys. You will thus fall into bootloader mode (SPL).
3) Download the firmware program and the firmware file to your desktop.
4) Connect the phone to the computer via USB cable
5) Run the flash driver.
6) Put a point opposite the lines of Regular RUU
7) In the Select NBH file field, select the file with the firmware.
8) Next, in the new window that appears, put ticks everywhere, click next, click upgrade. Wait until the installation is completed (0% ->100%) on the phone. Done!

All files for the firmware are in the header.Only flash with Windows 7 to avoid problems. USB 3.0 firmware is currently not possible.
The firmware process:
1) Turn off your HTC Radar.
2) Turn on your HTC Radar while simultaneously pressing the volume up and down keys. You will thus fall into bootloader mode (SPL).
3) Unzip DFT__HSPL_WP7SG1.rar file
4) Follow the unzipped folder to: DFT_HSPL_WP7SG1 \ 1_SPL205 \ OMEGA \
5) Connect the phone to the computer via a USB cable and run ROMUpdateUtility.exe on the computer
6) Wait until the SPL installation procedure is complete (0% ->100%) on the phone
7) After the installation is completed, the phone will reboot.
7.1) Follow the unzipped folder to: DFT_HSPL_WP7SG1 \ 2_HSPL \ Run DFT_HSPL_WP7SG1_INSTALL.exe on the computer. Install HSPL following the instructions on the screen.
8) Enter the bootloader mode (SPL) or turn off the phone and enter the bootloader mode again if you failed to do it in time.
9) Unzip the HD2O_Dynamics7_Radar_1_21.rar archive for example to the desktop.
10) In the SPL mode (see p2), connect the phone to the PC via a USB cable and run the TitanAdvancedRUU file which was unzipped earlier
11) Put a point opposite the line Custom RUU
12) In the Select NBH file field, select RUU Radar Radio 16.23.06 and click next
13) Next, in the new window that appears, put ticks everywhere, click next, click upgrade. Wait until the installation is completed (0% ->100%) on the phone
14) Then again enter SPL mode (cm P2)
15) Run the TitanAdvancedRUU file which was unzipped earlier. Put a dot in front of the line Custom RUU. In the Select NBH file field, select RUU Radar. Further see p. 13. Done!

DFT Freedom Rom Installation Instructions

I'll tell you how to flash custom firmware on HTC Radar (unlocked European, that is, not tied to a specific mobile operator).
To get to the bootloader mode, you must simultaneously hold down the volume up and down key of your phone while it is turned on using the power button.
In bootloader mode (or SPL - call it what you want) you will see a white screen with information about the version of the bootloader (bootloader) and the version of the radio module. At the bottom of the screen you can read "USB" and "IMAGE CRC" and "FACTORY RESET".
Getting started:
1) Turn off your HTC Radar.
2) Turn on your HTC Radar while simultaneously pressing the volume up and down keys. You will thus fall into bootloader mode (SPL).

14) Now you will see the following message at the top of the screen: HSPL2.5.160015.3 and CotullaH.
15) Unzip DFT Omega 24 langs Freedom V1 Pearl Edition.7z firmware file
16) Run ROMUpdateUtility.exe on the computer
17) Wait until the installation of the custom firmware is completed (0% ->100% will need to wait)
18) At the end of the procedure, the phone will reboot.


If you are stuck on the phone boot screen (the operating system doesn't run on your WP7) you will need to update the radio module version:

19) Unzip the files: RUU_OMEGA_Radio_Signed_17.5006.08.27_17.08.50.06.7z
20) Run ROMUpdateUtility.exe on the computer
21) Now going into bootloader mode (SPL) you will see the updated version of the radio module.

Mini FAQ on installing applications format XAP

You will need the installed Zune software and WP Developer Tools (you can download it from the links in the header), as well as a PC with OSWindows 7
1) Open the Application Deployment tool (Start>Windows Phone Developer Tools ->Application Deployment)
2) Connect device to PC
3) Start Zune (Or it will start when the device is connected)
4) Verify that the device is not locked (i.e., the initial screen is open)
5) Download the app in .xap
6) Click Browse and select application.
7) Click maximize. Wait until the end of the deployment. Everything!

Like that. Only not two files, but as written in the second post, i.e. From the archive of the firmware from Mozart you delete only .nbh and copy in its place .nbh from the radar. HSPL is not needed because firmware is all official.
