Solder the other end to the antenna output on the router board, and uncover the cable minimally. I don’t know how much it is inefficient, but it worked a little better instead of etched on the board, it might have been a good match / hitting the frequency.
It can be even simpler; in some branded ones, a piece of copper wire should be soldered diagonally directly onto the ant board.(no thicker than 0.5 mm, so that "accidentally" the track on the board together does not come off)If the router has more than one exit, then the tilt of the wire antennas is better in different directions.
