A couple of times noticed that the book does not respond to pressing any buttons, being with hibernation mode. I have set to "turn off the screen after 1 min." Then it came to the fact that the book on the buttons reacts, but scary slowly. Caused the idea that the system does not apply to real-time. More like preemptive multitasking. And the sleep process squeezes out all the others. :)
In general, very specifically in the mode of viewing the charging level, the device timer is buggy. That screen will not go off after 1 min, but after 2! That from the extinguished state refuses to get out a few seconds or even minutes! If you leave the screen with the screen off for a long time, then you'll get the hell with the buttons - the complete feeling that the device has hung. But, if you suffer, then everything will come back, as expected.


The blue graph shows the normal activity of the device in the minimum brightness mode (you can not watch the backlight level icon - it is updated only after the output-input - this is a minor firmware trail). One can see good bursts of consumption. Those. The percent solves the problem of polling the controller and drawing the graph. On the left is a green scale that allows you to track the current consumption. The red graph is the battery voltage. The charge is almost over. According to the calculation of the processor, 59 minutes are left to chop off the device. In fact, he will not live so much. The blue chart jumped up. This backlight level was switched from 01 to 10. Bright, but the battery is eating, like a mammoth.

But so many device eats when the backlight is turned off. It would not always be like that.
By the way, this graph shows that consumption almost immediately after turning on the backlight came to normal mode. The backlight level is set to minimum.

But the very case when the device went to turn off the backlight and then at the touch of a button did not immediately come to his senses. The graph shows the absence of normal splash after turning on the backlight. A few seconds pass and the splashes go. Just now the device came to life. Those. the backlight itself came on right away (you can see how the consumption jumped), but the screen of the processor is black. And only when it came to clue what was wanted of him - he drew a normal picture.


But immediately after turning on the backlight, the processor thinks that he would be able to stretch more than 3 hours with the screen off! Optimist, damn it. : D
But if the Chinese were given the opportunity to adjust the brightness almost from scratch, regardless of the complete fading of colors, then the books could be read one and a half times longer than now.
