Watching video on a computer with a smooth motion effect

Rep: (1043)
Algorithms for improving the smoothness of movements calculate intermediate frames, placed when playing between source frames. This creates the effect of increased smoothness of movement.
http://mag.irk.ru/msu_frc/animation.swf- in the picture, the smoothness of movement is increased 4 times. The speed of movement is 1/12 from the real one (so that the effect is noticeable).

Do you doubt that the difference is not noticeable? Easily noticeable in this example:http://svp-team.com/wiki/Frame_interpolation_overview ;)

What to use to get this effect?
1) Svp- free option, at the moment "out of the box" is already working with almost no problems. Everything loads by itself, it only remains to choose profiles for you. Starting with version 3.0, it supports acceleration using a video card, which helps to achieve almost double the performance gain.
You can also create a script and convert the video to Xvid4PSP (in principle, you can in any other program) for viewing in offline mode - for example, on the phone (if only it pulled 60 fps);)
2) Splash PRO- $ 20 (there is a 30-day trial to try). In general, everything always works stupidly, as long as the processor power is sufficient :) In the last update, the quality has significantly increased and in my opinion has reached the level of SVP (and the memory consumption and processor load are much lower).

P.s.wasHere is my topic, but it seems to have been deleted for years. I decided to create a new one. Since then, everything has changed very much (starting with quality and ending with convenience).

Quite an interesting topic =) But will the average 1 GHz devices like DHD, HD2, SGS, Motorola, for example, pull video with an acceptable bit rate of 60FPS? : rolleyes:

NITROUSPEED,
This is more promising for BB.

Rep: (444)
tempico,
Well, this is understandable, but still it is nice to see such a video at 4.3 inches, of course, new two nuclear Qualcomms and exxony will be pulled, but single core processors take me here ...

Rep: (1043)
On BB this can be done in real time, but it can also be converted for devices (since the calculation should be done with a screen resolution (800x450) this may not take so much time).
About whether they will pull - most likely they should. I can make some examples for tests)

I’m happy to test it, it would be interesting to watch a video at 60 frames / s at 4.3 inches :)

Yes, do it, I, too, am protesting on my own designer. I wonder how much will slow down)))

Now I just got to a normal computer.
For now, quickly converted the clip, which the author himself did at 60 fps.http://www.mediafire.com/?wz9w5a57vn5133v
Now I will interpolate all kinds of trailers ...
The first trailer, 2 and a half minutes longhttp://www.mediafire.com/?8sonfb7ajg4g315. Transformers.
And one morehttp://www.mediafire.com/?3e6m2y839xg469d
P.s. I looked at my player - it flies: happy:

Unsubscribe as promised, I apologize, but to get all the devices I had to sweat and pull their owners))))Tested clip -http://www.mediafire.com/?wz9w5a57vn5133v
HTC Desire (Android 2.2 off) - ochchchchchen hard brakes on the hardware method, on the software - normal, but I would not say that there are 60 frames per second ...
HTC Desire HD (CM) - On the hardware one, every 10 seconds it sticks a little, the software one is excellent.
HTC Touch HD (WM 6.1 @ 729.6 MHz) -: scratch_one-s_head: I'm so ... purely for the experiment ...- tin, compared with others ... The album did not open the video, just started playing audio.
GalaxyPad (Android 2.2 off) - In hardwired decoding, the picture is a bit sticking (frames 20 per second), but it shows clearly, in software with large “squares”, but it doesn’t.

Meanwhile SVPalready on version 3.1.4. Added support for OpenCL (list of compatible video cards). Turning on the GPU acceleration noticeably offloads the CPU.
When installing, the parameters are now reasonably well set based on the power of the system.

Has anyone tried to export an AVS filter for Xvid4PSP from SVP Manager? When I try to do this, I just get a message that the filter is formed, but I cannot find it in the program list, or in the SVP folder, or in the folder where Xvid4PSP lies.
When exporting a regular AVS script for video, it requests the path and file name, as opposed to export for Xvid4PSP. Tell me where to look?

What is there like an android?

Support the previous commentator, is there something like SVP or Splash for android? Of course, you can make or download a movie of 60 frames on the phone, but many movies will not work due to the lack of memory of many phones. But to render on-the-go rendering is very convenient, as the above-mentioned software solutions do.
