Why do you need hardret?
Hardreset (Hardreset) - a complete reset of the system to the state in which the smart was located at the time of purchase (naked Windows, only the programs preinstalled by the manufacturer, all default settings). Hard rezet may be needed if there are critical failures with Smart (specifically, it is buggy, memory is clogged, and so on).
During hard-rezet all user data (programs, settings, phone book, messages) are erased !!!

Why need a registry unlock?
Unlock is needed to install software that is not signed by a Microsoft certificate.
If the program is not signed (most of such programs) and the registry is unlocked, when you try to install the program, the message "Installation is not possible due to the lack of system permissions."
Unlocking the registry does not affect the performance of the smart and does not void the warranty.

Option 1: applySDA_Unlock (carefully read the instructions for the program)
Option 2: Registry EditorRegistry edit do:
HKLM \ Security \ Policies \ Policies \ 00001001 = 2 replace with 1
HKLM \ Security \ Policies \ Policies \ 00001005 = 16 replace with 40
HKLM \ Security \ Policies \ Policies \ 00001017 = 128 to replace 144 (optional for the latest versions)

2. Connect VOX via ActiveSync v4.5
3. Run Sec. Manager. identified security on VOX - One Tier
4. I chose Security off and pressed the provision (the program copied some cab Fam to the smart, asked for confirmation, I clicked OK. The protection level was changed to Security off
5. Installed Registry Workshop prog (can be downloaded fromsavagemessiahzine.comforum).Made BACKUP REGISTRY on VOX.
6. The keys in the registry are now available for editing.
7. Did everything as in this postHTC S710 (VOX) - Firmware (post # 1109812)
It works but with the arrows in the Russian layout problem .... we will work

set for automatic unlocking of all devices based on HTC
1) launch from the big brother HTCUnlock-CVS.exe, install it on the phone
(Alternatively, install HTCUnlockInstaller.CAB from your phone)
2) Start the classics from the big brother, SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe. Click OK.
3) run the program \ Program Files \ HTC Application Unlock \ HTC_ApplicationUnlock.exe that appeared on the phone.
Click OK, watch the automatic rewriting of the registry until Done appears above the left button.
4) Click Done, RESTART the phone (or turn it off and on again)
5) Enjoy
6) Now HTCUnlock can be removed from the phone

The correctness of the unlock can be checked by running Easy Tweak. (If the phone is unbroken, it reports this, but unfortunately the iPAQ 514 version 1.53 cannot be unlocked.)

On I300, the password to the "1234" hardcore ... try it can work out ... but in general everything should be written in the attached guide, at least in my case ... Good luck!
