I would call it too optimistic. I love Se, this company is always a priority, I am proud that the green logo of my favorite company flaunts on the back cover of my phone. And that's why I am very critical of everything that the company does. If you start from afar, for the reason I bought the Se W580 in 2007, the answer is very simple - ICQ curled up on it, it was cute, comfortable, loud and had a wonderful illumination on its sides. Those. I chose what other phones did not have. For the same multitasking, I could only look at Nokia smarts, but even then, the kind of symbian was sick. Yes, and they cost more, but looked scary. Since then I have become attached to the Sonariks, changed 580 to 595, which I still live to. But then Android appeared to the world, sonics hit it, xperia x10 came out, which I could only dream about because of its cost. There was a completely different world for me (not what it is now). And from that moment on, Se lost for me a part of what made them special. Android is the same everywhere, practically. I would call his customization only partially successful. Remains the design, for the most part and quality. Neither the first nor the second have ever had problems in my Se. After all, one design is still not enough. Ever since a200, I had some sort of suspicion that the company has some problems with the software part. Owners of the a200, remember the "multimedia" section? Now it’s clear where the legs are from Mediascape. Speaking of him. In my opinion, they saw him in vain. It was convenient for me to have access to the entire library in one application. Another thing is that the implementation was not at the best level. But I don’t see the point in Timescape at all. Apparently because they are not turned on social networks. But be that as it may, it’s still stupid, as can be seen from the reviews. However, not only he is stupid, but in general the entire UI on the shown samples. And for this reason alone, such defects Se cannot become the future of Android. There are no technical breakthroughs for this (it is understandable, resources do not allow it).
As for other manufacturers. Android has given a real impetus to the development of the mobile world. And Android phones are now doing everything for whom it is not lazy and standing out against this background is not so simple. Again, there remains design, iron, some know-how and so on. HTC is glamor? Yah? In general, I do not associate these things with each other. HTC for me is first and foremost Sence, the thing for which these smarts are being bought. And this shell is almost always backed up by a good iron component. Bydlodevays? God, what kind of dislike does the author have for this company? Yes, they have no design, no battery, but there are serious advantages that I described earlier. Samsung and what is their "incomprehensible way"? In my opinion, everything is clear - technologically everything is at the highest level. But at the same time, the same appearance and various kinds of software dampness and the inability (not a desire?) To realize their full technological power (however, here more and more relate to SGS) suffer. Bud by the way is very good, though to the level of a smartphone it still grows to her. The author somehow did not mention LG at all, for example. With their Optimus and Optimus One smartphones, the company managed to take a good market share, however, at the cost of dumping. But the company does not stop there. They have a dual-core smart. First, if not mistaken (Moto later announced its Atrix?). They have a very curious Optimus Black with the new Nova screen. There is a smartphone that shoots 3D video, and also allows you to display a 3D image on the screen, for which glasses are not needed. Naturally, a thing is very niche and rather a desire to stand out, to excel, to make you talk about yourself. Thanks to all these things, I have changed my attitude towards LG and am seriously thinking about buying Optimus Black. Like the other 2 million people who have already pre-ordered it.

Well, pull yourself up technologically, look for some kind of innovation (Xperia Play is certainly a chip, no one has this, but the thing is to attract attention. I would not count on serious sales) .Remind that they have such a wonderful brand - Walkman. Just need to stick these components to the corporate design, for which we love this beautiful company.
