The software didn’t see much, although I’m doing this for a couple of hours, the same difference is the same as the one indicated, the only difference is that the htcRIE version has become taller, 82, but now they don’t open bin files (so it’s impossible to update part04 ).

And when updating part04 through "HTCRIE.exe replace / I imgfs.bin part04.bin", my part04 file size doubles! Instead of 170 (from Back to the Future [XBmod-Yuki] [7720]), it becomes 300 + mb, respectively, firmware is not possible.

If you update part04 through the old version of htcRIE, 45, which can work with bin files, it successfully updates imgfs.bin in part04.bin, the updated ROM is flashed, but in the end it does not start!

I'm trying to understand what the problem is, because I need to update one file badly (I'm trying to fix an error in the alternative button mapping in the keybdpdd_htc5.dll file) in this firmware, the rest is 100% suitable for me in it.

I would be grateful for the help.

But I understood what he meant in that post on the other hand - it was about creating imgfs.bin and xip files without building them into an nb file. Hinted at what you can insert into your part04.bin yourself, but only here the problem occurs, the resulting imgfs.bin is smaller in size than the original, much more.

Voshchem, I now have only 1 idea left - to find the gden file of the Yumi certificate and make a cab with the replacement of the dll file in the firmware. That's just where to get the certificate ..

In general, this is fine, because I, taking advantage of your advice, I will try Baron's software to collect rum.

In general, I finally solved my problem with hard buttons! :) (or rather, cant Yuki \ Xboxmod, in the file keybdpdd_htc5.dll, the guys with the error replaced 2 bytes in the file, put vol_up instead of start)

Completely rebuilt Yuki firmware using xidamp + ImgfsFromDump + htcrie ver.82

It would seem that everything should be simple, you need to edit one file, but in the end, following all the manat that I found on the Internet, I had the only problem - the firmware did not start after replacing IMGFS.bin
Having suffered from "mana", I, as it usually happens, began to combine various ways of disassembling / assembling ROM. It turned out that for my case such a script xidamp + ImgfsFromDump + htcrie ver.82 is suitable (and not an IMGFS replacement via cmd, but an assembly via drag n drop)
