Instructions for use

1. Renamepart04.binatpart04.nb- set a program on this file and extract IMGFS
   
2. Dump IMGFS can be a utilityXiDump

4. Our reassembled IMGFS is stitched with the firmware by the following command.

Editing the registry in the firmware
We will need a utilityHveedit
Version: 2.0.112
Instructions for use:

1. Removing from firmwaredefault.hvanduser.hv- portable on .exe of this program
   
2. We get in the folder a new file with the extension.hvm
   
3. Edit this file with notepad or other text editor.
   
4. To compile our modified file back to .hv, simply transfer it back to the tool and a new compiled registry file will appear in the folder :)
   
5. This file and use the firmware :)

1.Extract part04.bin from Data.zip of any flashable MAGLDR WP7 ROM for HTC HD2
2.Rename part04.bin to part04.nb and put it in the "1.ROM Image Editor" folder
3.Run "htcRIE.exe" & Select part04.nb
4. Select IMGFS in the Left Column, then click "Ctrl + A" to slect All.
5.Now press the "Save Select Files" button to save the files to the "3.IMGFS from Dump \ dump" folder
5a.Again, select the imgfs select the imgfs.bin button
6.Once saved, goto "3.IMGFS from Dump \ dump" & copy the "default.hv" & "user.hv" to the "2.HV Editor" folder
7.Now drag and drop "default.hv" & "user.hv" on "HVEdit.exe"
8.Delete "3.IMGFS from Dump \ dump \ default.hv" & "3.IMGFS from Dump \ dump \ user.hv" files
9.Two files will be creatd "default.hvm" & "user.hvm" respectively. Registry changes.
10.Once editing is done again, drag and drop the "default.hvm" and "user.hvm" onto the "HVEdit.exe"
11.Now "default.hv" & "user.hv" will be recreated. Cut & Paste them into "3.IMGFS from Dump \ dump" folder & replace the old files.
12.Now run "start.bat" in the "3.IMGFS from Dump" folder
13.Cut and paste the imgfs-out.bin into the "1.ROM Image Editor" folder
14.Make a copy of part04.nb in the same folder & rename it to part04.bin
15.Run the "build.bat" in this folder
16.Now replace the part04.bin file in the "data.zip" with this new creatd part04.bin
17.Flash MAGLDR Rom as you normally would.

6. Then, select IMGFS in the left column and click "Save Selectd Files" in the top panel and save the "imgfs.bin" file "3.IMGFS from Dump"
   
7. After saving, go to "3.IMGFS Dump \ Dump" and a copy of "default.hv" and "user.hv" to "2.HV Editor"
   
8. Now drag "default.hv" and "user.hv" onto "HVEdit.exe"
   
9. Delete "3.IMGFS from Dump \ Dump \ default.hv" and "3.IMGFS from Dump \ Dump \ user.hv" files
   
10. Two files "default.hvm" and "user.hvm" modify them according to your requirement to make registry changes.
    
11. After editing, drag "default.hvm" and "user.hvm" again to "HVEdit.exe"
    
12. Now "default.hv" and "user.hv" will be recreated. Cut and paste them into the "3.IMGFS from Dump \ dump" folder and replace old files.
    
13. Now run the "start.bat" in the "3.IMGFS from Dump" folder
    
14. Cut and paste IMGFS-out.bin in the "1.ROM Image Editor" folder
    
15. Make a copy of part04.nb in the same folder and rename it to part04.bin
    
16. Run "build.bat" in this folder
    
17. Now replace the part04.bin file in "data.zip" with this newly created part04.bin
    
18. Flash through the assembled firmware as usual.

"default.hvm" and "user.hvm" are registry files. You can edit them, for example, with utilities.HVEdit_v.2.0.112.zipormregedit_v055.zip.
