Theory:
The programs laid out here should be supported by any readers that have support for HTML. The programs themselves are a javascript page. You may need a touch screen and a stylus to run programs.
Practice:
You can use the program both online and by downloading the application to your book.
I stick to the zip posts archives, which contain the necessary files for programs. Each archive unpack in a separate folder. The file that you want to run, I specify for each program.

For each program, I add a spoiler with a list of supported / unsupported readers reported by users.

Periodic table D.I. Mendeleev / Periodic Table

Useful application. In addition to the table itself, there are several useful features: when selecting an element, its parameters are shown (mass, melting point / boiling point, number of electrons at energy levels, by whom it is open, ...); all elements in color are distributed according to aggregative states (although the utility is doubtful for E-ink with 8 gradations). Not all elements are present: the last element, Ununquadi, is not yet “open,” there are no subsequent elements up to Ununoktia.

I agree, I do not argue. That's why I tried to run these applications on the digm, they do not work. The browser offers something to download.

Booken Cybook Odyssey HD FrontLight.
Out of interest, I tried a couple of programs.
Unit Converter - unable to enter values.
Periodic table of chemical elements D.I. Mendeleev - opens the table, but it is impossible to read. The names of all elements are shifted and fit each other. When you select an item, the reader browser opens.
Sapper - opens a clean sheet.
Tic-tac-toe - the game page opens, but the playing field does not appear.

I do not know about java in my reader. But in 5 minutes I realized that I would only read about it. How, by the way, and planned.
