This is a single post. The topic is developed only on badablog.ru At the moment there are two dictionaries on Bada, which can serve as shells with the possibility of "free" adding dictionary databases:

We put. We connect the phone as an external drive. We are looking for the established two English-English dictionaries. We are looking for on the memory card (I hope to put the applications on the card) files * .mdx. We search online for .mdx dictionaries for Mdict and copy them to a memory card to the existing ones.
By the way, there are not so many such dictionaries. But there is a sufficient number of dictionaries for StarDict (search will help), which are very successfully converted to mdx.

1.Download and unzip the archive with MdxBuilder (

3. Run convstar.exe dictionary_name.ifo_name_text_ely.txt (for example convstar.exe jmdict-en-ja.ifo e2j.txt)
4. Run MdxBuilder, select

Then we copy the resulting .mdx files to the memory card folder in acc. catalog (I searched for it on the map by * .mdx). Run the application Mdict below choose from the list of dictionaries and use. Yes, I forgot to say after copying new dictionaries, click on the "Refresh" in the dictionary selection list. I have 15 dictionaries working successfully.

* You can merge several dictionaries into one. After converting to text files, we connect text files from different dictionaries with the simple command copy file1.txt + file2.txt + ... file_ common.txt. Then we feed it to MdxBuilder.
* If there are many dictionaries in the MDict list, then after scrolling the last line is partially closed by the bottom menu. Do not worry, click a little to the right of the left button and boot.
* In some archives of StarDict dictionaries, the .idx file is packaged in .gz. Before running, ConvStar needs to be unpacked (in a couple of cases it was necessary, sometimes it goes like that).
* If the necessary Lingvo dictionary has not yet been made for StarDict, the procedure for transferring dictionaries from ABBYY Lingvo to Stardict has long been known and described in the network.
* If an error occurs while running convstar.exe Warning unknown mark: x (0x78), the following content will be ignored. Summary of ignored ... as a result of which a small text file appears at the output, containing only words without translation, correct the sametypesequence = in the .ifo file

For SlovoEd, the conversion has not yet been mastered, and doubts arise as to the need for this. Although it seems to exist. There are ready-made dictionaries for it, but I have not seen more than one in the direction of translation, so that there is no particular choice.
