Errors and their solutions

AT:I heard that in this branch there are telepaths \ fortune tellers \ mediums and clairvoyants who can give a complete and adequate answer to an incompletely formulated question?
O:Oh, to our great regret, all of the above comrades went to TNT and TV3. And we, like you, will also hope for their early return to the ranks of the users of our forum ...

In the meantime, please: if you want an adequate answer to your question, then formulate it accordingly. For example, a description of the problem + actions that led to it (configuration change, change in source code, terminal log and / or logcat, oh, unintentionally deleted + oh, I don’t remember what) ...

In addition, if you share logs, do not upload your log file to the forum (it is so poor).
And put the logs in the tags [code] [/ code] and then this thing in the spoiler. Or, write logs on pastebin.com and attach the link!
Because no one wants to load the trash that he has thrown off to him on the computer!

when building ... or rather, when executing the command .build / envsetup.sh, my terminal writes that access is limited (of course already in the mydroid folder and it is there)
and with sudo says that he does not know such a command (of course, already in the mydroid folder and there it is)

what to do?

Do:
source ./build/envsetup.sh

Then you can make lunch and choose the necessary config

Instructions for running the collected android for Ubuntu 10.10
1. Turn on full logging
Take boot.img and unpack it:
extract-ramdisk.pl boot.img
extract-kernel.pl boot.img

In the boot.img-ramdisk folder that appears, edit init.rc and init.swift.rc:
- we include loiing level 6 (all messages)
loglevel 6 instead of loglevel 3.
-including bootloader logging by adding
service logcat / system / bin / logcat -f / dev / kmsg
oneshot
after
on property: persist.service.adb.enable = 0
stop adbd
- for each service, turn on the log output by adding after the service name / system / bin / logwrapper. Example:
service servicemanager / system / bin / logwrapper / system / bin / servicemanager
user system
critical
onrestart restart zygote
onrestart restart media

Putting boot.img back:
mkbootfs boot.img-ramdisk | gzip>ramdisk-boot
mkbootimg --kernel boot.img-kernel --ramdisk ramdisk-boot - cmdline "mem = 214M console = ttyMSM2,115200n8 androidboot.hardware = swift uart.mode = arm11_uart_disable crash = off" --base 0x00200000 -o myboot.img

2. We sew in phone
fastboot flash boot myboot.img
fastboot reboot

3. Turn on download log output:
adb logcat
You can file:
adb logcat>log

From the messages of the loader you can see the problem.

4. Analysis of system.img is performed by the unyaffs utility:
unyaffs system.img

5. Building the system.img from the directory (for example, the System directory):
mkyaffs2image System mysystem.img

6. Configure UDEV to identify the phone.
In the terminal we give the command:
gksudo gedit /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules

In the opened file we register:
SUBSYSTEM == "usb", SYSFS {idVendor} == "0bb4", SYMLINK + = "android_adb", MODE = "0666"
SUBSYSTEM == "usb", SYSFS {idVendor} == "1004", SYMLINK + = "android_adb", MODE = "0666"
where idVendor is the device id (for example, 1004 - LG)
and write the resulting file.

Restart UDEV to accept changes
sudo service udev restart

Found a way to use 32bit OS to build froyo +.

So. If you get an error
Only 64-bit build environments are supported beyond froyo / 2.2
Checking build tools versions ...

build / core / main.mk: 76: **************************************** ********************

build / core / main.mk: 77: You are attempting to build on a 32-bit system.

build / core / main.mk: 78: Only 64-bit buildenvironments are supported beyond froyo / 2.2.

build / core / main.mk: 79: **************************************** ********************

build / core / main.mk: 80: *** stop

can be in the file"build / core / main.mk"

find strings

ifeq ($ (BUILD_OS), linux)
build_arch: = $ (shell uname -m),

Delete the line following them
ifneq (64, $ (findstring64, $ (build_arch)))

And add in her place
ifneq (i686, $ (findstring i686, $ (build_arch)))

And also in files

external / clearsilver / cgi / Android.mk
external / clearsilver / java-jni / Android.mk
external / clearsilver / util / Android.mk
external / clearsilver / cs / Android.mk

Change “+ = - m64" on "+ = - m32”In these lines:

LOCAL_CFLAGS + = -m32
LOCAL_LDFLAGS + = -m32

Compiled the same .. With the battle .. I flashed to the phone through the adb shell
flash_image system /sdcard/system.img (after throwing a file onto the body). The phone did not boot :) It became interesting why - I started reading the logs and ... O_O In general, it turned out that the system folder of my phone is pretty virgin: D I installed my native firmware, I will continue to beat .. I must try to start it on the emulsion for sure ..
What advise you advise?

Angel_Hranitel,
Is installed 10.10 ubuntu? Or 10.04
If 10.04 I think the case may be in jdk. I put openjdk. Everything compiled with it

I downloaded the android after the command
repo sync
, but suddenly the memory ended (because the lyn was on the Wirth machine) and it all ended in lines. I understand everything is not fully downloaded, how to continue the race? Or did I download it ????

cur2sc,run from home directory
repo prune

After
cd ~ / mydroid
and being already in mydroid directory
repo init

fatalkO_o,Yes, swears at the inability to create a folder due to lack of free space.
The vendor folder is in the working directory. In the one where downloaded AOSP.

Hello to all!!!
What you need to do to start the assembly well, for example under msm7227 (cosmo, legend, experia x8, etc.)
And then after the assembly is loaded and after the inscription ANDROID, the screen starts blinking and that's it. Log says something about copybit - but what does this mean?

Maksic,
Can be more:
1.What version of androida want to run (2.1,2.2)?
2. Have you tried to flash the system.img image from your sources into your device?
3.What smartphone model specifically?
4. Tried to compare the files in the source code laid out by the manufacturer for your model and AOSP?

fatalkO_o,
I remember that in the downloaded source code VENDOR was not at all, it should be created there.

By the way, I now have about 900 mb of space left, this is enough for “building the project in the terminal, enter the following commands” of this ???

The writhing that there was done a lot of things and the error came out 41 here:
host Java: signapk (out / host / common / obj / JAVA_LIBRARIES / signapk_intermediates / classes)
make: *** There is no rule to build a `Please-install-JDK-6, -which-you-can-download-from-java.sun.com 'target required for` out / target / common / docs / api- stubs-timestamp '. Stop.
make: *** Waiting for task completion ...
/ bin / bash: javac: command not found
make: *** [out / host / common / obj / JAVA_LIBRARIES / signapk_intermediates / javalib.jar] Error 41

What is wrong with Java again? The version check is disabled as it was in the cap.

fatalkO_o,
Do like this
sudo add-apt-repository "debhttp://archive.canonical.com/lucid partner "
sudo add-apt-repository "deb-srchttp://archive.canonical.com/ubuntulucid partner "
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk
sudo update-java-alternatives -s java-6-sun

And what percentage are you trying to collect?
I understand that msm7227 so use it better
repo init -u git: //codeaurora.org/platform/manifest.git -b gingerbread -m M76XXTSNCJNLYA7106.xml
repo sync -j16

After a detailed reading of the error, I realized that it was in JDK =)
Yes, under it, so what should I do
at first
sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ lucid partner"
sudo add-apt-repository "deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner"
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk
sudo update-java-alternatives -s java-6-sun

Then

repo init -u git: //codeaurora.org/platform/manifest.git -b gingerbread -m M76XXTSNCJNLYA7106.xml
repo sync -j16

or just this?
repo init -u git: //codeaurora.org/platform/manifest.git -b gingerbread -m M76XXTSNCJNLYA7106.xml
repo sync -j16

fatalkO_o,
The order does not matter.
sudo apt-get install git-core gnupg flex bison gperf libsdl1.2-dev libesd0-dev libwxgtk2.6-dev scashfs-tools build-essential zip curl
if during this there are any mistakes make sudo apt-get update and run sudo again ... install ....
again sudo apt-get install g ++ - multilib lib32z1-dev lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline5-dev gcc-4.3-multilib g ++ - 4.3-multilib
