Tell me there are some special features when translating games, what should I pay attention to, etc. Can you make a brief educational program?
I recently started translating to Android. I consider the quality of my translation to be amateur.
The basic rules to follow (as I think):
1. In no case does not change the meaning of the text.
2. To play the game or use the program to feel the atmosphere or to understand what is needed in practice.
3. Ensure that the text does not climb outside the screen or windows (for this, the Russian language is rich in synonyms. If there is no imagination, you can stupidly shorten it within reasonable limits)
4. When working with graphics, try to choose a similar font and color. Adobe Photoshop to help you.
5. After translation, do yourself and try to find flaws.
6. To strive to translate to 100%.
Here are the 6 points I stick to in translation.
