* Set up actions for page turning: by touching the screen, volume rocker, camera button, search button or back button.

FAQ:

1. I have problems installing / updating the application.
Problem number 1: I can not install a new version - the system writes: "A package with this name is already installed and has a conflicting signature" / after installation, the program "crashes". What to do?
- Make a backup of the reader data (Menu ->Options ->Reservation; or in the open book Menu ->Options ->Additional settings ->Backup), then completely remove the old version, install the new one of your choice (keep in mind that patched versions of different authors are not placed on each other, unless the core of your device is patched and signature verification is not disabled!) And restore the data (Menu ->Options ->Recovery).Nb: If you are going to delete and delete its folder after deleting the reader, reflash the device or simply use "garbage cleaners" that delete the residual files, backup to the cloud immediately or manually transfer the backup to the memory card, otherwise lose it!
Also, to save all data, you can use classic Titanium Backup / Helium backups (the first for devices with root, the second for devices without root), and after installing the new version of Moon + Reader, only data can be restored from the backup.
Problem number 2:I want to put a different version of the reader (flash the device, move to another device) and transfer all my settings / bookmarks / notes to it.
- Follow the advice above. The backup is saved in the cloud or in a local folder (by default sdcard / Books / MoonReader / Backup, if you do not select another folder for it) as a file with the extension .mrpro. After that, it can be restored by means of another version of the reader (Menu ->Options ->Recovery), including on another firmware / other device.
Problem number 3: I deleted the old version, trying to install a new one, and the system says that the application is not installed / not enough space to install, although it is more than enough.
- Go to the folder / data / app /, find there a file with the name of the reader and the extension .odex, delete it and quietly put the selected update.
Problem number 4:After updating from the Market or updating the firmware, the reader drops at startup.
Back up the data reader and clear the application data. If this does not help and the reader crashes as before, remove the drop log (How to remove the application error log) and send it to the developer by mail[email protected]. You don’t need to write to the topic - there’s no developer here, and no one except him can fix the program’s bugs.
Problem number 5: After installing the reader on the CyanogenMod firmware, the device goes into perpetual reboot.

1a. I have an Android below 2.2. I can not install the program?
- You can. Install version 1.6.5b - it is the last version from the list that works on Android up to 2.2. If it does not work, check the versions below - 1.6.0, for example. But best of all, if there is such an opportunity, just upgrade the OS and use the full functionality of the latest versions of the program.
1b. I backed up the data, but it turned out to be too small and my books / backgrounds / fonts did not recover!
- Data backup only includesinternal application data- reader settings, user-created bookmarks, notes, reading history, etc. Books / backgrounds / fonts files are external data, are not included in the backup, only links to them are saved in the backup. Transfer your backgrounds / fonts to those folders where they were at the time of creating the backup, and then when restoring the backup, you will get all that was. The library also needs to be transferred manually or uploaded to the cloud and use synchronization.
1c. How to get to the data in a backup? This is a file with some strange .mrpro extension!

1e The program constantly asks for updates, it annoys me! Can I somehow calm it down and turn off the check for updates?

1e. What is the difference between the regular version (Free) and the Pro version?
- Free-version - a free version of the reader with limited functionality. Pro-version - a full-featured version purchased on Google Play, has an additional. the functions sounded in the description under the item "Additional features of the PRO-version."

2. How to get to all the settings of the reader (the appearance of the book, management, animation, scrolling, etc.)?

- The patched version is a version with disabled (patched) license checking that works on all devices regardless of the presence of the Market in them. The regular version checks for a license (application purchase) and requires a broken Market in the system for successful operation. Therefore, if your device is rutovan and a broken Market is installed on it, safely put the original one. If not - patched, or just buy the application in the Market.Keep in mind that synchronization with Google Drive often does not work on the patched version.

- Patched versions are relevant for those who are strained by notifications about updates and who do not want to turn off the reader to check for updates.
3g. Will the Pro version downloaded from this theme or from other sites be updated from Google Play?
- Not.
3d Antivirus says that in the modified versions there are viruses.

4. I have Android 4.4 or higher, and the reader does not see the memory card (books are not visible / not downloaded / not deleted, bookmarks / notes / backups are not saved).
- This is a known problem: on Android 4.4 and higher, third-party applications are not allowed full access to the memory card.
