Description

LastPass - free (for PC) and paid (for android) program for storing passwords, developed by LastPass. It exists as a plug-in for Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari (only for Mac OS X). There is also a LastPass bookmarklet for other browsers. LastPass is the PC Magazine editor’s choice for password storage, has a 5-star rating on the Firefox Add-Ons website with 126 reviews, and has written about it on various popular blogs, including Download Squad, Lifehacker, and Makeof. Passwords in LastPass are master password protected and stored locally and can be synchronized with any other browser. LastPass also has a form filler that allows you to automate password input and form filling. The plugin still supports password generation, sharing sites and journaling sites.

You can import and export data from many well-known password storage systems (such as: RoboForm, 1Password, KeePass, Password Safe, MyPasswordSafe, Sxipper, TurboPasswords, Passpack, Firefox and Internet Explorer’s built-in password manager). Passwords in LastPass are master password protected and stored locally and can be synchronized with any other browser.

LastPass collects passwords that other password managers do not “see”, including many AJAX forms, and makes it easy to create strong passwords.

LastPass also offers a premium update that includes support for mobile applications (iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Android, WebOS (Palm), Symbian), as well as additional options and priority technical support in case of any problems.

For online services - convenient. I also have firefox. But the policy of their company, apparently, is that mobile customers are only paid. And buying software on a phone with a monthly fee is not worth it in most cases.

I use premium due to the fact that lastpass has good portable solutions, and I often travel and you can run your browser with usb flash drives and cling to the lastpass.
