Setting up Internet and MMS messages:

step 1:
Go to the smartphone menu: Start-Settings-Connections. Choosing GPRS

Choose: Menu-Add

  • In the description we write the name of the profile (it does not matter in principle, but it is better to use the name of the operator)
  • In the connections choose: Connect to Internet
  • Registering the access point (depending on the Operator)
  • Push ready
Everything, nothing more is needed here, the Internet is set up.

Now we set up MMS:
Select-add again

Create a new profile for MMS:
  • We fill in the description (It does not matter in principle, but it is better to use the name of the operator)
  • Attention!:In the "Connect to:" option, select any profile except for the active internet (this is necessary to separate Internet sessions from MMS. In my case, I select "Work")
  • Register an access point (depending on the operator)
  • Push ready
Nothing more is needed!

Step 6:
Go to the menu of the smartphone-Connections
Press the menu button and select the first item-Advanced

In accordance with the previously selected (in my case it is “Connection to the working network”), we select the connection to the profile already created for MMS (in this case, MTS-MMS)
Push the button "done"
We leave from the menu "Settings"

Go to the menu of the smartphone "Messages"

  • Register URL for MMSC (depending on operator)
  • We register Wap Gateway (IP data transmission server) (depending on the operator)

Step 15:
  • Attention!:The connection should be the one that was in the "Settings" (Accordingly, I select "Work")
  • Choose the Maximum size of file transfer (need to be clarified with the Operator, but usually it is 100kb)
  • Select "WAP version", can be changed in accordance with the port (Check with the operator)
  • Click the button "Done" and exit with the save.

The basic MMS setup is complete!
