* ASS subtitles
* choice of audio and subtitle language

TODO for new versions if anythinghere
And here you can do the Feature Request:proof

Download:
Windows: Attached fileaEncoder_0.99.5.rar (8.39 MB)

Linux: http: //savagemessiahzine.com/forum/dl/post/526914/aEncoder_0.99.5_linux.tar.gz (beta)

A brief installation manual for linux:
tar xzvpf aEncoder_0.99.4_linux.tar.gz && cd aEncoder_0.99.4_linux && ./install.sh && ./aEncoder

After that, you can run it by simply clicking on the aEncoder file that appeared after installation.
From dependencies - should be tk8.5, mencoder, gpac. Ways to programs he finds himself if they are properly installed.
It may also require tahoma.ttf - font for subtitles. It is not in the archive for licensing reasons. The file must be placed in the folder ~ / .mplayer / under the name subfont.ttf. Or any other font with the support of the Russian language.

All errors found can be written tohttp://github.com/goletsa/aEncoder/issues

If the Linux version swears on Unable to encode:
The error is most likely related to the old versions of mencoder in the system:
In the log file in the folder ~ / .aencode / then there will be messages like:
00:42:51 Option x264encopts: Unknown suboption weightp

Here is a small patch that cleans up this problem:
$ wget http://github.com/downloads/goletsa/aEncoder/aEncoder_oldmencoder.patch -O aEncoder.patch
$ patch -p0

It is necessary to run in the folder where the file isaEncoder.tcl

Thank! Normally I converted under the nexus, the quality is not the height and the trimming is correct.
Conveniently.

Rep: (0)
I would remember the settings, and not just the way ....
Then your class; o)

Rep: (88)
separate933,
Which ones?

Rep: (88)
Intermediate build:Attached fileaEncoder_0.99.1.rar(8.99 MB)

Fixed a bit of the interface (added a file analysis button and other minor fixes that I missed at 3 am :))

Rep: (0)
What to memorize is resolution, pruning.
Will be comfortable.

Rep: (88)
I'll try to save other settings.

Great program. Be sure to take a closer look - exactly what I was looking for. Is there any idea to port it for Linux? It's just that there are no simple video encoders, all that is there are monsters overloaded with settings, and in the light of the heightened interest in Linux from the side of ordinary low-advanced users, this solution would be in demand.

Engine cross-platform, in principle, possible. But if I will do that later.
The version with saving settings is almost ready.

Version 0.99.2: Attached fileaEncoder_0.99.2.rar (8.99 MB)

Minor changes in the interface. Now saves all settings in the ini file (if there are problems, unsubscribe).

Everything is working. No problems noticed!
Once put the daws and only charge movies.
Conveniently: rolleyes:

Thanks for the prog!

Rep: (3)
Thanks for the program! ;)

Rep: (7)
This is according to Windows, right? And then mnu on Ubunt. In principle, the repository has a lot of software for converting video to MP 4. And what can be heard about the support of codecs by Anroid AVI? Is it at all realistic, at least in perspective?

Rep: (4)
By the way, what is the situation with support for the design of * .ass subtitles?

By the way, what is the situation with support for the design of * .ass subtitles?

The current mencoder build doesn’t know how to design ass. And new builds are still buggy, then I implement it.

Is it at all realistic, at least in perspective?

This is rather a question to the developers of android OS or developers of custom firmware;)

Rep: (88)
registration of subtitles in SSA, ASS implemented, I will fill in a bit later.

Rep: (88)
Version 0.99.3: Attached fileaEncoder_0.99.3.rar (8.99 MB)

[+] Added partial support for the ASS / SSA design.
[upd] Increased user bitrate level (for future for large screens)

Thank you real prog: thank_you:

: good:
Atlichna! Everything is simple, fast and convenient, nothing superfluous.
Prog is straight for us: I have WVGA, my wife has HVGA))

Rep: (0)
Comrade, add filters and color correction and the converter will be even better.

Rep: (88)
vas-vas
What filters and what correction?
His main task is to translate the format that we look at on the computer into a format compatible with the device. If possible, zayuzav necessary audio track, or subtitles to put on the image. When playing it is hardware reproduced, consuming a minimum of energy.
For those who like to correct the source, having cut off unnecessary and etc., there are more sophisticated tools.
