In section"PDAs and Communicators - help", subsections"Windows Mobile FAQ"and"Personal experience"all actForum Rulessavagemessiahzine.com (their simplified version is10 commandments novice).
In order to make communication as comfortable as possible, we also ask you to observe the following rules:
  1. Use the search before asking a question.
How to effectively use the search
There are three ways to find information on our forum:
    1. Standard option: click the word "Search" at the top of any page on the site. Next, select the desired search criteria. We advise you to pay particular attention to the choice of the section in which you want to search, and the choice of where to search - in messages or in the headings of topics.
    2. Sometimes it is more convenient to use an alternative search method - through the most advanced search engine in the world - Google, but within our forum. To do this, in the Google search bar type the following:Site keywords:savagemessiahzine.com where Keywords - this is what you are looking for.
    3. The most difficult thing for beginners (and not only) of the Forum participants is a search within the same topic. Three search options are possible.
    - use the ready-made search bar in the upper right part of any forum page.
    - click on any page of the topic "Options - Print version". When it loads, you will receive the entire topic on one page without images, etc., just text. Next, by simultaneously pressing Ctrl - F, you have the opportunity in the resulting window to type what you are looking for.
    - Use the button "Find in this thread."

  2. Try to formulate the questions as clearly as possible and give the maximum amount of background information on the essence of the problem and your PDA, because only a competent question will give you the right answer.
An example of how wrong and why
Question: "Why does my PDA have a battery so fast?" - incorrectly worded, because from it is not clear:
    1. PDA model
    2. How long does the battery last?
    3. how the PDA is used, which programs and network interfaces work,
    4. Did you read the topic about your PDA model and is it really an abnormal battery consumption?
    5. How exactly did you try to solve this problem?

  3. Adhere to the topics of sections and subsections of the Forum, the specifics of the topics in our section:
How to choose where to ask your question
Common questions - inAmbulance for beginners, synchronization questions - inMicrosoft ActiveSync and Windows Mobile Device Centerabout the registry - inEditing the registryif you are purposefully looking for programs or need advice, which program to install - ask (and answer) inSEARCH PROGRAM, part 3.decided to share their personal achievements - you in the subsectionPersonal experience.
Topics with real questions and issues to discuss - create inroot partition. For those with questions that do not imply discussion or introductory nature (Example: "What is RAM" or "How to make a backup"), do not need to create - contact the topicAmbulance for beginners!
Before you create a new topic, be sure to look at all the topics in the subsection -"Windows Mobile FAQ"and important topics of other sections \ subsections (these are the first topics in the list in each section \ subsection), most likely there you will find an existing topic where problems of a similar nature are solved.
Before asking a question in an existing topic, carefully read the rules of the relevant topic (located in the topic header) or subsection (in a separate topic at the top of the list of topics in the subsection).
Pay attention to the existence of other sections of the Forum, in which you will be given qualified answers to questions about firmware, program selection, navigators, GPS adapters, navigation programs, Internet access settings and local networks with PDAs, devices on platformsApple, Android, Symbian, laptops, etc.
For example - if you need help in solving problems with GPS and navigation, contact the topicsAmbulance for beginners in navigationorGPS FAQ (open to all)which are located in the "Navigation" section.
See the full list of all sections of the Forum on the main page -here.

If you do not know where to ask your question - refer to the topic.Ambulance for beginners!

  4. You can ask your question by writing a message to an existing topic, chosen according to clause 3 and clause 4, or by creating a new topic, especially if the question seems to be too complicated or lengthy. When creating a topic, please remember that one topic = one problem, not a list in the last two years. : yes2:
Your topic can be closed by a moderator if:
    1. A similar theme already exists (for example, firmware issues are solved precisely in the firmware theme of a particular PDA model);
    2. Your question does not involve discussion or does not relate to the topic section.
    3. The topic of discussion is exhausted.
    4. Communication in the topic is beyond the scope of the original topic or violates the Forum Rules.

If you do not understand the reasons for closing the topic, contact any section moderator.

  5. In subsection"Personal experience"it is forbidden to create topics with questions - just share your personal experience, create similar topics inroot partitionor ask, respectively, the problematic, in the already existing topics.
In subsection"Windows Mobile FAQ"New topics can be created only by moderators. You can ask your questions in all open topics of this subsection or create a topic inroot partition.
Users are not allowed to create new posts in the topicRegistry tweaks.
If you think that some information deserves to be included in closed topics or have noticed an inaccuracy, let us know via the "Complaint" button. Your message will be reviewed by moderators.
  6. Not paint messagesdifferentflowersRbutdatgand, don't write them in letters different sizeandnachert Hania- Your messages are already clearly visible.

  7. Moderators of consultations during personal correspondence are not carried out, even if you need it very urgently. No need to ask questions through the "Complaint" button - you are guaranteed not to answer. The question asked in the correct topic will be answered the fastest.

  8. Say "Thank you" by increasing your reputation. If you have less than 15 messages - click the "Complaint" button on the message where you were helped, and write who helped you.
