Preparing a memory card for using NativeSD Android assemblies
Instructions for running Android from a memory card from under WM:
1. Prerequisite for the launch of Android is the presence of firmware radio version 2.08 or higher.Official firmware HD2 supports Android only from version 3.14, and it does not need to update the radio. In other cases, questions on "how to update the radio" contact the topicflashing. A mandatory requirement for flashing the radio is to haveHSPL
2. Download any one you like.android assembly.
3. Unzip the contents of the archive with the assembly on the memory card. Example file path:
sdcard / Android / HARET.EXE
After that, the memory card should be free at least 300MB.
4. In Windows Mobile, run the CLRCAD.exe file (apparently there will be no action)
5. Run HARET.exe
6. Whatever happens next on the screen - this is normal. If the launch immediately stops on the "jumping to kernel" text field, then it does not make sense to wait any longer - Android will not load, perhaps the problem is that you have not completed step 1. The first launch of Android can take quite a long time, usually 5-10 minutes , but it does not make sense to wait more than 20 minutes.
7. After the first Android download, it is recommended to reboot 1-2 times. After the device is rebooted, windows will boot again - this is normal, because Android is loaded from the memory card and can not be initialized when the device is loaded.
8. To restart the Android, you need to repeat points 4 and 5.

Unable to run assembly:
1. Read the instructions carefully, when installing some assemblies, additional manipulations are required (the instructions are attached in the description of each assembly).
2. There must be enough space on the map. Most of the latest builds take up to 1.5GB on a memory card. It is not recommended to use memory cards of less than two gigabytes. Android build may simply not start due to lack of memory.
3. Make sure the memory card is called a storage card.
4. Make sure that there are no files and folders in the root of the map that were left from the previous builds (delete or move them to a separate folder if the previous build is still needed)
5. Format the memory card on the BB with any program for formatting cards.
6. If the assembly does not start after that, the problem is in the memory card (it is often found in poor quality cards of little-known brands). Try running the build from another memory card.

Multi Build Loader for Android / Ubuntu- multibutloader, allowing you to choose to download one of several assemblies of Android or Ubuntu, located on the memory card.
Select the OS to boot after the device is turned on

Downloader from xda-developers.com

different in volume data.img- The image of the internal memory of the android, its size determines the amount of memory available to android.

Frequently asked questions aka FAQ:
1. Usb connection does not work- putMulti mount sd card
2.How to get rid of files and folders in the root of flash cards after installing androyd and during its use. decisionfromdistributer
3. Launched, but no Russian keyboard- you need to put it from the Android Market or, for exampleHTC Touch Input
4. Will my firmware fly off if I try? - NOT!When launched, WM is downloaded from the RAM and Android is recorded. After CP, everything will be as before.
5. How to get rid of frequent hangs of Android?- Try to defragment the card.
6. How to try another build with Android?- you just need to replace * the old build files with new ones.
* after launching Android - various files can be created on the memory card, it is also desirable to delete them
7. How to Russify Android?- Settings->Language & keyboard->Select Locale->Russian
8. Do 3D games / applications work?All the games that go to HTC Desire and Google Nexus one work, and they go no worse, if not better.
9. Android on startup swears at rootfs.img and sd card- delete the Android folder from the root of the SD card;
10. How to transfer contacts from WM to Android?
Download from. site HTC sync 3.0 and click on the sync button with Outlook. Or:
The first way:First you need to synchronize your phone with MSOutlook. Then in Outlook we run "import \ export - export to file - values separated by commas (Windows)". As a result, get the file ***. Csv. Then in the gmail account in the contacts tab, click "Import" - in the upper right corner of the tab. Specify the path to the ***. Csv file. thankMisareg
Second way, thankhjugo
You will need PIM Backup, a computer with internet and a gmail account
1. Open PIM Backup to WM, select "Backup", select only contacts, click Next.
2. In the "Select backup filename and folder" dialog, disable "compress backup" and "binary backup", click Next.
3. Transfer the file BACKUP.PIB that you just created from phone to computer. Change the extension from PIB to RAR and then unpack the resulting archive.
4. The unzipped file will be BACKUP.CSC. Change the extension to CSV and import the file into your GML account. All your contacts will now be imported to the phone through GML - just follow the instructions of the phone menu "Contacts".

Third way:
1. Install in WM - Sprite Backup (This is in any case one of the recommended backup for HD2)http://www.spritesoftware.com/store/downlo...teWindowsMobile
2. Install in Windows a small converter from backups from WM format to Android formathttp://www.spritesoftware.com/store/downlo...?name=MigratePCand use it.
3. Copy the resulting file to the root of your SD card
4. Install AndroidMigrate in android -http://www.spritesoftware.com/store/downlo...=AndroidMigrate
Enjoy! Actually it is very convenient. Once we made a backup of contacts and put them in the root of the card and after that, for each test of new builds, just hold the .apk file in AndroidApps. Loaded in a new build and 3 clicks restored contacts - everything, you can live)
PS: If the contacts are not immediately visible, it is possible that you have not turned on the display of local contacts:
In version 2.1 - Contacts>Settings>Display options>Choose your google account>Select "Starred in Android"
In version 2.2 - There is a special menu in Contacts where you need to select - "Display local contacts"

Another way to transfer contacts from WM to Android and sync.

11. No melodies and sounds in Android
- you need to download the folder "Media"and throw it into the root of the memory card.
UPD. If you can not download - copy the link and paste it into the address bar. Automatic transition does not work.

12. Why do games for Android need a cache?
- on Androyd, after installing many games, they need additional content (Cache), which they extort from the Internet. Without this content, the game will not start and every time you start it will offer to download content from the Internet. Accordingly, if you do not have a Wi-Fi connection, then in order not to grow old and not go broke on GPRS traffic, you enclose the Cache for the game in a special folder. If there is Wi-Fi, then start the game, and respond to the offer to download additional content in the affirmative. For example, to start the game Asphalt you need to download 95 mb from the Internet.

13. How to change the shell (standard Android / Sense)?
Ways to change the shell
1) if you don’t tick "Use for this action by default", then the shell change can be called by pressing the hard button in the form of a house and selecting the desired shell
2) if you tick "Use for this action by default", then by default the selected shell will be loaded, and by clicking on the hard button in the form of a house, thumbnails will appear on all desktops. And in order to make it possible to choose shells again, you need to go to Settings \ Applications \ Application Management \ LauncherPro (if LauncherPro is selected by default) and clear the default values. And if Sense is selected, then go to Settings \ Applications \ Application Management \ Sense and also clear the default value.

14. I do not start a new build of Android! What to do?
Delete folders:
* .android_secure
* Android
* LOST.DIR
* cache
* data
* media
Delete files:
* system.ext2
* data.img
* initrd.gz
* ts-calibration
* zImage
* rootf
* tartup.txt
* CLRCAD.exe
* haret.exe
* FSCK0000X (there may be many)

15. Being in Android I can not connect via WI-FI to the router.
- Android builds change the MAC address of the HD2 adapter

16. The card is 8 gigs, and the androyd only allows you to put 250 megs of software, how to increase this volume?
The explanation is very simple - in its current form, Android writes all its data to image files, and specifically in data.img. If it was at the stage of the first installation created with a size of 250MB, then that’s what you’ll have available.
Options to increase 3:
1. As already written to put the pre-downloaded software in / AndroidApps (this is the folder on the card and therefore its limits do not apply)
2. Use builds with increased data.img (as an option, see the link above)
3. Create ext2 / 3 section and use froyo bids (maybe 2.1 is possible, but I'm not sure) and they will use this section to install programs. Well, create a section of a few GB.
A way to manually increase the size of data.img
Download to any Linux (as a variant of Ubuntu from an installation DVD. I described it a bit earlier in a post about creating additional partitions)
Connect the phone in the card reader mode or connect the card in the card reader
Find your data.img on the map
cd / path to the directory where data.img lies
e2fsck -f data.img (say Yes if it asks to fix errors)
resize2fs -p data.img 512000 (desired size in bytes, in this case 512MB)
e2fsck -f data.img

Reboot and try. If it doesn't load the first time - it happens - we try again.

17. Solving keyboard problems
1) Downloadhttp://www.hallerud.se/htc_ime_jonasl_hires22_27.zip
2) From the archive we take HTC_IME_hi22.apk
3) We drop it on the card, set it in a way that is familiar to us - for example, through a file manager, such as ASTRO
4) Go Menu->Settings->Language and keyboard set daw HTC_IME mod. We spit on the warning - the way is exactly safe, because fully open and made by the XDA community.
5) In the same place we go in HTC_IME mod->Language keyboard and choose Russian. I also draw attention to the fact that in this mode additional settings are available - but here you can figure it out yourself
6) Now on any input field we pinch the finger. In the menu that appears, select the item "Input Method" and HTC_IME mod. As a result, we get an improved keyboard with comfortable smiles and without a bug.

18.How to install applications?
Before downloading the OS, copy the * .apk file to the Storage Card \ Android \ AndroidApps folder, where by "Storage Card" is the name of your memory card in the system, by "Android" is meant the name of the folder that contains the android assembly. Another way:
To do this, you must first install the file manager. Throw it on the memory card and in the browser do the following:
enter content: //com.android.htmlfileprovider/sdcard/name_your_file.apk, click ENTER
After that, the installer of .apk files will be automatically loaded.
Accordingly, in this way you can enter any address in the memory, but only in English, in addition, you need to follow the case of letters. So you can install any .apk, only in the settings / applications you need to check the box next to unverified sources.

19.Will the picture quality (number of colors) differ in WM and in android?
Not. HTC HD2 at the hardware level can not display more than 65 thousand colors, since it has a 16-bit cable connected to the screen.

20. Icons are very small, games \ applications do not go full screen
The first way.
Edit the build.prop file that is in root / system
Open it with any text editor and change ro.sf.lcd_density = 200 to ro.sf.lcd_density = 240 (this can be done, for example, in the file explorer root explorer (open in text editor)
lcd_density is a parameter that allows you to change the resolution of the interface (the "density" of interface elements). Its standard value is 240.
Second way
In the Spare Parts program, in the last menu item, remove the 'Campatibility Mode' checkbox and reboot.
Third way
Download from Market orfrom hereDencity changer and change the density parameter to the desired value using it.

21. As with the broken volume rocker run the assembly from magldr
1) Format the card.
2) At the root of the card, we dump any assembly that works from the card (Android OS SD)
3) Create an Android folder (or better open on your computer startup.txt and look there in what directory the files should be transferred), move it to: system.ext4 and any file with the .img extension
4) zImage, initrd, startup.txt and other files including the Root folder if it is left in the root. And then we just connect the phone to the computer and it will boot up with the new build =)) Depending on the build, you will have to wait while the bootloader creates the ext4 and img files ....

22. How long does it take to launch an Android? I have half an hour (an hour or more) the first launch lasts!
The first launch is quite long, but not more than 10 minutes. The second and further - 2-3 minutes.

23. How to configure MAC Wi-Fi on Android?
line
set cmdline "wifi.mac = xx: xx: xx: xx: xx: xx"
with your poppy in startup.txt (it should not depend on the register, but it doesn’t work with capital letters for some, it’s better to write small)

24.What is a frieze (freeze), sticking, falling off the touch.? glitch when running HD2 in Android, associated with a non-responsive sensor (on the screen).
25.When Android starts, digits like [665.201173] ACR = 4287 FL = 1256 BAAC = 98 appear and nothing else happens!
Try to change the line in startup.txt:
set cmdline "rel_path = Android" to the line set cmdline "rel_path = Android loop_partition = mmcblk0"
or vice versa. Complete removal of all information from a memory card and formatting it from a computer in FAT32 can also help.

26.Why do you need so much free space on the memory card?
When you first start creating an image of the internal memory device (data.img), which takes up so much space. The amount of data.img created determines the amount of internal memory that will display android, and which will be used by the system.

27.Android created files (FSCK000N.REC, where N numbers)In general, this is the result of the treatment of file system errors (recovered data), which may also appear as a result of the unexpected closure of the process. You can delete safely.
28.The error "failed to mount the sd card.cannot continue", or other memory card errors.- The problem is solved by formatting the SD card on the phone with a program that goes into the WM firmware initially!
28.Android starts only once, after reboot - an error.- You have incorrectly placed the assembly on the card. You need to move the files to the Android folder or another folder specified by the author of the assembly in ReadMe.
29.When installing the application, an error "application not installed"?Install the application again through a standard Internet browser. How to do this look in the FAQ, paragraph 18. You can read the full descriptionhere
30.When you start the application, the error "oh, the application has closed ..."Do the same as in the previous paragraph, after removing the application.
31. Can any android assembly record / change files in the internal memory of the device?No, Android does not know about the existence of the internal memory of the device.
32. Does the folder from Windows in the root of the map interfere with the work of the Android, for example, Program files and so on?Absolutely not interfere.
33.How to make several Android assemblies work on one map? Instruction
34. Why can I see the networks that are outside the home ... and the home network (located 30 cm from the phone) does not see?Need to make the network channel lower.
35. When updating the application, it gives the error "application not installed".Delete the old version and re-install the new one.
36.How to russify the assembly?Install from Market MoreLocale2
37. How to add a widget to your desktop?
Press and hold your finger on the empty space of the desktop, a pop-up menu will appear. In this menu, select "Widgets / Widgets". From the list of installed widgets, select the desired one.

38. Can I turn off USB charging?- not.
39.How to change the animation when loading the Android OS?
- replace root explorer with the file /system/media/bootanimation.zip (if it is not there, then system / customize / resource / bootanimation.zip) with any other

40. The phone sees the Wi-Fi network, but does not connect to it. -decision
What should be the battery consumption in sleep mode?
Normal consumption in sleep mode within 4-9 ma

41. How to view the contents of data.img- HTC HD2 - Android OS SD (Post # 6968522)
42. The screen backlight turns off when loading and does not work- before loading Android OS into Windows Mobile, you need to disable the auto-backlight of the display (Settings - Sound and Display - Backlight - remove the checkbox from the "Automatically adjust" checkbox)

Android OS kernel
What is the core?- the answer will tellany encyclopediaon computer science.
In any assembly, you can install any kernel designed for HD2. That it determines the stability, power consumption and performance of the assembly. To get the best performance and functionality, it is recommended to upgrade the kernel.
How to replace the core.
instruction fromlucyan
It can be produced in 2 ways:

2.1 Automatic replacement (does not work on all new kernels, especially test ones).
We load WinMobile, we connect the phone in the card reader mode to the PC, copy the zImage core file into the "\ Storage Card \ Android" folder with the replacement of the old one.
Modules * .ko put in the folder \ Storage Card \ Android \ root \ system \ lib \ modules. If the folder does not exist, create. We load the Android, we check files.

2.2 Manual file replacement (in case the automatic did not work. This is usually expressed when the camera is idle or Wi-Fi).
We throw the contents of the downloaded archive with the kernel on the memory card (it is possible both under Android and under Windows, at your discretion).
After downloading Android, using the RootExplorer program or a similar zimage file we throw into the Android folder, after deleting the old one.
Modules * .ko are copied to the system / lib / modules folder, after deleting the old ones.
We do a complete reboot of Android.

Lexburg user replacement instructions
1. Put a clean assembly from the cap.
2. downloaded the kernel you need, put it in any way on a memory card (not in Android, you can, I have the Program for Android folder for these purposes)
3. We went to the Android, opened the ES-conductor there on the left triangle, in it pressed the Win key (middle button of the five at the bottom of the phone) ->Settings->at the bottom of the "ROOT right" ->put both jackdaws (choose HiAPK).
4. Came out of the settings in the ES-conductor, checked the path, there are 2 of them: a memory card - in the upper left corner of the ES-conductor, respectively, should be "/" with a path above it "/ sdcard", and not a "House" with the path "/ "is the internal memory of the phone. Switched by clicking on the icon "/").
5. Found the kernels you downloaded (MDJ-S7 _ **** _ *****) (search on the "/ sdcard" card).
6. Standard manipulations with a long tap (hold) on the desired file: copy the zimage from the archive and paste with the replacement along the path / sdcard / Android (to the root of the folder).
7. The same manipulations with the three * .ko files, but they need to be written into the main memory (click on the "/" in the ES-Explorer) along the path "/ system / lib / modules /"
8. The same manipulations with the * .so file, it also needs to be written into the main memory (click on the "/" in the ES-Explorer) along the other path "/ system / lib / hw /". Path hints specifically in the Kernel Archive (where the file sits).
It is advisable to save somewhere the original file along the path /system/lib/hw/ligths.qsd8k.so
9. When you exit the ES-Explorer, it is unforgettable to disable Root-rights (remove daws), otherwise there will be problems with the "opening" of the card (maybe something else).
10. FULL RESTART (not Hot-Reboot).
EVERYTHING should work!

Comment. For kernels, where the modules (drivers) are bundled (i.e. there are more files in the archive besides the zImage file), their installation (update) occurs in folders:
/ lib / modules
system / lib / modules
/ root / system / lib / modules - to build shubCRAFT v1.x.
Module files are updated (by simple replacement) already in the Android system through any file manager with root access.

-CPU frequency adjustment and overclocking SetCPU
Instruction:
Install. We start. Select the second item (something like Autodetect (recommend)) and will.
Customize as we want. Any rules. Frequency when the screen is off! (I'm testing now. Perhaps finally there will be perfect power consumption)
When I set the frequency to 998mhz, the performance in games has increased significantly.
(to install it, select the performanse mode)
Then choose ondemand and the frequency is adjusted automatically.
Without load - 245, with full load - 998.
+ INSTRUCTIONS FOR INCREASING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MACHINE
Creating additional partitions on the SD card
  • We make a full backup of data from your card (!)
  • Download the Ubuntu image (any, but better than the last)http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download
  • Burn it to DVD or flash drive (depends on the downloaded version)
  • Boot from it and select "Try Ubuntu without installing to your computer"
  • We connect your SD card to the computer in any convenient way, as an option card reader
  • After downloading, select "System>Administrator>Partition Editor "

You can try to change the partition of the existing Fat32 partition (shrink) (before that it is very desirable to defragment the map under Windows)
But it is better (in my opinion) to create everything from scratch so that
  • Right click on each partition and select unmount
  • Right click on each partition and select delete.
  • Press the "New" button and create the first partition
  • Select the type of FAT32, Primary partition and the appropriate size (say 6.5 GB if the card is 8 GB) and click Add
  • We create the second partition for data
  • Click New and create another Primary partition with ext3 file system and 1 GB in size (for example) and click Add
  • Create the last third partition for the Swap
  • We press New and create another Primary partition with the swap file system and 128 MB in size (This figure is redundant and if you can even feel sorry for 32 MB) and click Add
  • We press Apply and after a while everything is ready.
  • You can reboot into Windows and restore your data

Similar operations can be done, for example, with Acronis.

Build archive
Part 1
AssemblyAndroid 2.1 by Cotulla Thank you very muchProms
Assembly recommended from Cotulla (Desire Beta 1) + the latest zImage from it
This assembly is ready for use. The last zImage (by Cotulla) is already in it. Just copy the contents of the archive to a flash card, and go ahead. Cotulla is testing new kernels (zImage) on its Assembly Desire Beta 1. On the other builds, the same stability is not guaranteed.

AssemblyBuild based on Android 2.1 Sense from HTC DesireCurrent build version 5 from21.07

* No more sleep of death
* Much faster performance
* Battery life improvements
* Call screen turns off.
* No more GSM network disconnection in sleep
* High stability

AssemblyDarkstone froyo desire Gamesquare ,MirrorCurrent build version 1 from26.07
Stable operation of most components, except:
Camcorder (try Marketplace apps)
GPS (It will be possible to work with zImage from 07/29)
Ringtones (Download thisfolder, unpack it to SD root)
SIM contacts need fixing, none show at the moment

Assemblydan1j3l Froyo Desire build RC1 25.07,mirrorrutovannyRootfs.img,thankAkustik84Current build version: RC1 from25.07
- Video recordings do not work with the official HTC video camera due to the lack of an optical trackball (but you can try free applications on the market)
- 3G data transfer may be slow or not working properly due to incomplete control of data in the core
- Problems with using, like HTC USB drive in Androyd (disabled for security reasons)
- All other things should work fine.

AssemblyCyanogen Rom 6 RC1from03.08
Good
+ Successfully booted on the first try
Camcorder is finally working with the app.
Flashlight is finally working with the original HTC Flashlight App
+ No SOD or GSOD with cotullas zImage 25.07 (maybe i have a Sharp Panel?)
Bad / Problems
- Bad Performance (especially at scrolling)
I can’t check it and I’m showing it on the SD Card. was working in all other Android Builds)
- Needs time to boot-up
- No or Bad Battery Management (already optimized in other Android Builds)
- USB Storage not working (already working in other Androids)
- Bluetooth finds other devices but can not be paired
- Compass works but it doesn't show magnetic north.
- Low volume issue is already known. During his call to his own sound No echo in normal mode.

Build on baseCyanogen Rom 6 RC1from5.08
1) fixed cm6-htcleo_keypadfix
2) fixed cm6-htcleo-datafix
3) the original zImage is replaced by zImage from 08/03/2010 (Cotulla)
4) in the startap.txt file set cmdline "rel_path = cm6-htcleo" replaced by set cmdline "rel_path = cm6-htcleo loop_partition = mmcblk0" (if the Android does not load, then in this line you should deleteloop_partition = mmcblk0 )
5) in the archive, a separate file is the userdata - this is a virtual disk with a size of 1 gigabyte (usually in firmware use 256 and rarely 512). This file must be copied to the directory with the assembly, agreeing to replace the existing file, AFTER FIRST ANDROID LAUNCH. (since the first launch of 10 minutes is customization)

Build on baseshubCRAFT CM6RC2 / Froyo / Themed V1.1 from 5.08
1) the original zImage is replaced by zImage of August 3, 2010 (Cotulla)
2) in the startap.txt file set cmdline "rel_path = cm6-htcleo" replaced by set cmdline "rel_path = cm6-htcleo loop_partition = mmcblk0" (if the Android does not load, then in this line you should deleteloop_partition = mmcblk0 )
3) userdata of 1 gigabyte is already present, so nothing needs to be changed

Build on baseshubCRAFT CM6RC3 / Froyo / Themed V1.4 from 17.08
* Cleaned up duplicate drivers from the tar.gz
* updated added Wi-Fi driver from latest Aug-17 zImage
* noticed build 1.4 build's build.conf, which slowed back down 3g / gprs
* updated the bluetooth audio profile. hoping this will open bluetooth headsets
* updated apns-config.conf with a hybrid of mms settings for T-Mo US. should work better.

Assemblymattc NexusLeo from 14.08 Current version 1.0
Build Information
mattc's NexusLeo v1
This is a brand new build. It is almost a complete build of my own. This is the official Nexus 2.2 Froyo FRF91. This is * stock * Android.
The kernel is huanyu's overclocked to 1.113GHz and undervolted 1000mv. It also has the same RAM found in GIT. I found this amazing speeds. Quadrant run on this same combo.
What's Not Working:
* WIFI tethering
* Bluetooth Headsets not working for calls. Streaming media is working fine.
* USB tethering
* PPP
What is working:
* Bluetooth streaming media
* Wifi
* EDGE / 3G / HSDPA Internet
* 5MP Camera w / flash
* Standard Definition Camcorder w / flash
* Too many to do list items.
Known Issues:
* Internet can be slow. This should be fixed in the future builds.
* There are occasional touchscreen freezes. Normal touchscreen functionality usually returns after 10 seconds or so.
Tips:
* Use SetCPU to underclock. It can also help increase battery life.
* Turn off live wallpaper.
* Don't use the built-in USB Storage capabilities. Android system files.
* Use a program called "droidexplorer" which safely transfers files using adb.
* I have included a Task Manager. Learn to use battery life.
Other Notes:
* CPU scaling is enable by default without SetCPU. It is enabled by default.
* This is a VERY basic build. Sense widgets, apps, etc. Check out the stock one Nexus One.
* I have included the Task Killer.
Installation Instructions:
1. Download which build you like. You can choose from a 512MB, 1GB, or 2GB storage option.
2. Unzip your contents to your SD card. All files should not be entered into a folder named "Android".
3. Use an autoloader, or Windows Mobile, browse the CLRCAD.exe, then Haret.exe.
4. Let Android boot. The first boot is the longest and larger data sizes require longer times. The 2GB can take up to 20 minutes.
5. Enjoy Android.
6. Note: If you are having a looping boot issue, please note.

Assemblymattc Leo + Froyo w / Sense RC1.5b Build version 1.5b from 17.08 + Expansion of phone memory up to 1 Gigabyte rootfs.img Mirror
1. Bluetooth - Works completely on my Ford Sync system. A2DP, streaming audio, answering and ending calls, etc. BT Keyboards don't work yet.
2. Camera w / flash.
3. 3G. I get ~ 1000kbps down in Ft Worth. My EDGE speeds have increased in RC1.4.
4. WIFI. Confirmed working with WEP and WPA.
5. GPS. Takes some time to work.
6. SIM contacts are working. (edit: some people have issues, I have not).
7. I have included Automount (a free app) to mount your SD Card. Simply open Automount, set it to mount, then plug in your USB cable.
8. FM Radio
9. Camcorder! It is an EVO style camcorder. Will crash if you try to record in 720p.

- I caught an error in the market when multi-loading applications. (at the jump there were more than 5 applications), more error did not appear
- root is available only under the shell.

+ assembly is fast enough
+ ice indication works
+ For half an hour of active use of the assembly, and the G-sensor did not catch the zalipons and glitches.
+ standard interface resolution.
+ Fast operation of GPS and Mobile Internet (3G). (checked when loading Yandex maps), Megaphone operator
A set of software - the minimum.
No root access.
WaiFay - works fine.
BT is the same as on all Nexus assemblies: on a stereo multimedia headset it works, the conversation is not.
The benchmark is about 1550 in quadrant in the SetTsPU mode 245-998 conservativ (cannot be changed due to the lack of root access).

AssemblyFroyoStone Sense - V2 Kernel: darkstone 2.6.32.9 from 02.09

- Bluetooth Headset now fully supported in calls.
- GPU performance tweaked, games and HTC Sense now run at a higher FPS. Check in NeoCore for FPS between builds.
- Added a G-Sensor and G-Sensor to the GScriptLite program. Stop G-Sensor to avoid the touch screen freeze when not using the G-Sensor. Start G-Sensor when it is needed.
- Reboot after first boot to complete configuration. All apps will work fine after this. THIS IS IMPORTANT.

1.AssemblyshubCRAFT 1.5 CM6 Final Kernel: ElBartoME 2.6.32.9 # 1 from 30.08 + Mirror shubCRAFT_v1.5_origfonts +
Mirror shubCRAFT_v1.5_STOCK
Description and changes:
V1.5:
- Changed Base to CM6 final.
- Including smoked widgets done by rori ~.
- LCD Density changed back to 240.
For those who liked 220, go to SDCARD / Android / root / system / build.prop
Spareparts, all apps will scale well!
- LauncherPro upgraded to latest version.
- Changed Filesystem (Thanks mattc)
- Fixed USB Mass Storage.
- Providing a pure stock CM6 build.
- Providing RMNET version.

Note! Requires at least six hundred megabytes of free space on the memory card.
Explained by a respectedroly :
Since there are misunderstandings regarding the versions of the ShubCRAFT 1.5 assembly, I propose my own version of the version description. Connoisseurs, if in something I am wrong, I ask for help, it is necessary to lead to a single option for the cap.
Versions:
shubCRAFT_1.5 - standard version from the author (with its fonts and PPP support)
shubCRAFT_1.5_RMNET - standard version of the author (with its fonts and support for RMNET)
shubCRAFT_1.5_origfonts - version with original fonts (with PPP support)
shubCRAFT_1.5_origfonts_RMNET - version with original fonts (with RMNET support)
shubCRAFT_1.5_STOCK - version with CyanogenMod 6 (with PPP support)
shubCRAFT_1.5_STOCK_RMNET - variant with CyanogenMod 6 (with RMNET support)
PPP is a new network data transfer protocol over GPRS (faster 3G, but as more buggy at the moment, periodically falls off, is treated by turning on and off FlyMode)
RMNET - old GPRS data transfer protocol (used in earlier builds, 3G works slower, but more stable)

2.Assemblymattc Leo + Froyo w / Sense 1.7 Kernel: mattc 2.6.32.9 # 4 version of PPP (Faster 3G Internet, but there may be glitches with non-working Internet, hang, etc.) Build version 1.7 from 31.08 + mattc Leo + Froyo w / Sense 1.7 Kernel: mattc 2.6.32.9 # 4 RMNET version (Normal version, with normal Internet.) Mirrors for both versions
Change log 1.7:
1. Added EVO and Nexus cam interfaces. User can choose which to use.
2. Default sense wallpaper now works. Live and static.
3. Voice dialer added, works over bluetooth.
4. New base for better app / market stability.
5. PPP and RMNET versions will be available without having to patch anything.
6. More default APN some corrected including TMOUS.
7. Root file system will allow easier updating in the future.
8. Switched to kernel from git. No overclocking. You can install any other kernel you wish.
9. Improved WIFI performance.
10. This should be my best build yet.
Based on the official HTC Desire Froyo update.

Note! Requires at least 1100 megabytes of free space on the memory card.

mattc EvoLeo v1.0 Kernel: 2.6.32.15 # 5 withSense from 21.09 Attention! Without Russification!

This is a brand new build. I have it on the official HTC EVO rom and tweaked it for the HD2. The rootfs will create a 1GB data image.
The EVO base is a friend to the non-trackball phones.
Note: After booting you will notice the lines on the screen. It is normal to be patient.

What is working:
Louder sound over speakerphone and headset
Very stable and fast internet over PPP. Hard freezes are completely eliminated
Light sensor
Touchscreen / Gsensor Freezes Eliminated
Bluetooth Streaming Media / Phone
Wifi
Wifi / USB tethering
USB transfers
EDGE / 3G / HSDPA Internet
Camera (flash is buggy)
Standard Definition Camcorder w / flash
LED Keypad Lights and Charging Indicator
No more green line in HQ YouTube
All other items

Get in my other build:
EVO keyboard with directional buttons
Proper HTC camera interface with working previews
Additional downloadable sense widgets are working
Ringtones, notifications, etc. work without additional media folder (no more ringtones with your music !!)

Known Issues:
The camera flash is in low light.
You may need to enter a manual DNS address when using WIFI tethering
There are menu items for 4G. The hardware doesn’t support 4G, they will fail.
Notification led is flaky, works at times, not at others. Don’t rely on it.

Tips:
Use SetCPU for better battery life.
Turn off live wallpaper for better performance and battery life.
I have included a Task Manager. Learn to use battery life.

Other Notes:
CPU scaling is enable by default without SetCPU. This kernel cannot be overclocked.
I have included Astro File Manager as a Task Killer.

Installation Instructions:
Unzip your contents to your SD card. All files should be extracted into a folder named "Android".
Use an autoloader or Windows Mobile phone browser, then Haret.exe.
Let Android boot. The first boot is the longest and larger data sizes require longer times.
Enjoy Android.

- Ebook reader (E-Books do not open)
- Ringtones (Unable to select a ringtone, get a force close error)

Night tested the animal in applications, in particular games, as the most demanding of hardware .. Desirev4 assembly

Archipelago is a wonderful game, it works perfectly. I killed a lot of time: blush:
Asphalt 5 - failed to start, constantly requires to download 5 kb, but does not download ... I will try to "cure"
Assassin's Creed - good performance, you can play
Crusade of Destiny - slows down, but playable. The game did not like ..
De Blob - Cool game, it goes well, but on a 7 \ 8 screen. Below is a black bar.
Dungeon Hunter - compared to previous builds, it has become better. You can play
Everlands - there is nothing to slow down, as in Archipelago, it works fine
Falling Ball - GSensor somehow unstable responds .. But playable
Gangstar - It is about the same as Assassin's Creed, you can play
Hero of Sparta - Brakes more than Dungeon Hunter and Hawx. Play very uncomfortable
Hawx - slows down..Flagable.
Nova - works surprisingly well.
Radiant - works fine.
Skies of Glory - Works well, you can play
Sniper Shot set for the test camera, it was determined normally.
Teeter - it seemed to me that GSensor is working in a somewhat slow motion .. It is good, but the sensitivity seems to be lowered.

The animal was heated in the same way as in Windows Mobile. Never rebooted, stable and fast.
Now I will add to the header reviews about the firmware, to all those who responded, thank you very much!

I have a thing like WM to sync with Google

First sync to MSOutlook. Then in Outlook we run "import export - export to file - values separated by commas (Windows)". As a result, get the file ***. Csv. Then in the gmail account in the contacts tab, click "Import" - somewhere in the upper right corner of the tab. Specify the path to the ***. Csv file. Voila ...
I at least did that. Maybe there is a shorter way.
Generally this ***. Csv file is a useful thing. It is understood by almost all services. Mail, etc ....
And syncs correctly. There are all sorts of groups there, etc.

K
Frequently asked question, added to the FAQ. Thanks.

like someone wanted a way to transfer contacts ...

Import contacts from WM to Green. (thanks to brownman)

You will needPIM Backup, computer with internet and gmyl account.

All your contacts will now be imported to the phone through GML - just follow the instructions of the phone menu "Contacts".

or use activsync with googlehttp://www.google.com/support/mobile...&answer=138636

brazenly takenhere
K
Thank you. I will add the second method

Assemblyrecommendedby cotulla (Desire Beta 1) + latestzImagefrom him:Here
This assembly is ready for use. The last zImage is already in it. Just copy the contents of the archive to a flash card, and go ahead.

Whyrecommended?because it is testing new kernels (zImage) on its Desire Beta 1 build. On the other builds, the same stability is not guaranteed.

[21:10:01] <Cotulla>To be honest, I have no idea what this "5th build" is. For me, there is a kernel and the build that I use to test the kernel. I can not answer for other people's assembly. It happens that the author of the assembly will mess up something.
[21:10:14] <Cotulla>If I am wondering how exactly I have at the moment
[21:11:22] <Cotulla>I use desirebeta1 + my modifications now.

Information on the numbering of assemblies:

Attention! At the request of the members of the forum (mark the kernel not by date, but by version), this release of the kernel (zImage) is marked with version 1.1
The version can be viewed either when opening the archive with WinRar (shown in the comment), or by the name of the text file in the archive.
The kernel version in the finished assembly with the latest kernel can be identified by the name of the archive (at the end is the version)
To avoid versions 999.9 - versions will evolve around like this:
1.1.1
1.1.2
1.1.3
etc.
ATTENTION! After the last point, at the end there is an extension of .7z (ie, 1.1.7z is obtained), but version 1.1 and not 1.1.7! Be careful.
p.s. Archive squeezed stronger.

LastzImageseparately (direct link):Herev. 1.2
(If you have a problem with the display - replace the zImage from the 23rd).

The link to this post will be in my signature.
When new versions are released, I will update both the build and the zImage.

Known issues with this version (СHrome translation)

- 3G data transfer may be slow or not working properly due to incomplete control of data in the core
- GPS
- Problems with using, like HTC USB drive in Androyd (disabled for security reasons)
- All other things should work fine.

It means so for everyone who wants to work with the phone on a “short leg”, but also have a nice UI in Windows ...

1. Download Android SDKhttp://developer.android.com/sdk/index.htmland install
2. Downloadinghttp://www.mediafire.com/?er3ayjz2rwzand copy everything to windows \ system32 (these are Qt libraries)
3. Download and runhttp://www.mediafire.com/?dmowzkyjt22nnkk
4. Specify the path to the SDK tools

Enjoying not only the normal shell, but also

As far as I know, synchronization does not work in any of the assemblies.
To synchronize contacts (as someone has already written in this thread)
Sprite Backup is very convenient to use - IMHO is somewhat simpler than the path described in the header.

But the main distinguishing feature of this method is that it DOES NOT NEED TO CONNECT WITH INETOM and imports not only contacts but also call history and SMS and bookmarks, i.e. almost complete transfer of all personal data to Android from Windows Mobile

http://www.spritesoftware.com/Products/Mig...How-To-Transfer

In Russian
4. Install Sprite Backup on Android -http://www.spritesoftware.com/store/downlo...=AndroidMigrate

Enjoy!

Actually it is sooo comfortable. Once we made a backup of contacts and put them in the root of the card and after that, for each test of new builds, just hold the .apk file in AndroidApps
Loaded into a new build and 3 clicks restored contacts - everything, you can live)))

PS: If the contacts are not immediately visible, you may not have enabled the display of local contacts
B 2.1
Contacts>Settings>Display options>Choose your google account>Select "Starred in Android"
In 2.2 There is a special menu in Contacts where you need to select - "Display local contacts"

2 Moderators: This method is fundamentally different from those described in the header, since does not require an internet connection. Can he perpetuate? ;)

I propose to add this file to the header, put it in the main memory (on WM) and a shortcut appears on the launch of the Andrews, very convenient. And no matter what the assembly and where it lies.
Here he is,Attached fileCloudy_AndroidLoader.cab(177.21 KB)

- support for Android versionsEclair (<Storage>) andFroyo (<Storage>\ Android)
- support of ROM firmware of any languages (WM)
- support any devices, not only LEO

Now about the Junior Member build:
- for honors of Sense interface
- everything works, no brakes seen
- camera, video plowed but it was not possible to photograph the vidos
- the percent is heated
- charging plow
- contacts and stuff sync with Google
- Inet 3G \ HSPDA plow
- the waffle works - but there is no place to connect to check xD
In general, not bad, even if this is the first build of this guy. During the hour of work, no glitches were found, only well-known for all assemblies (rather non-working functions like GPS), woke up normally, the screen did not refuse to poke xD

Set the frequency of the processor manually.
Very flexible program.
Let me remind you who does not know - at this point in the port the frequency is looped to 768 MHz. Constantly.

PROGRAM NEED TO BE TESTED. MAYBE IT DOESN'T EARN.Although judging by the tests in the program - everything works as it should.
Install.

A little later I will add more detailed instructions. If it makes sense.

padrecc
I hope for your help. By the way in the logs for some reason he writes that the frequency does not change. We must see what happens with discharge.

As I have promised

  • Click New and create another Primary partition with the swap file system and 128 MB in size (This figure is redundant and if you can even feel sorry for 32 MB) and click Add
  • Click Apply and after a while everything is ready.
  • You can reboot into Windows and restore your data

If you chose to resize the main partition, then you only need to create 2 and 3 partitions as described above in the free space.

Everything described here is only one of the most simple options for creating these partitions, and if you know the others, then most likely you will not need this dock;)

2Dde11This is probably also a hat. Soon it will all come in handy.

Multi Build Loader for Android / Ubuntu - A new multibutloader, allowing you to choose to download one of several assemblies of Android or Ubuntu, located on the memory card.

Attached Image
Attached Image

Attached Image

Program description:

The application automates the task of running CLRCAD.exe and HaRET.exe. Now you have the opportunity to download Android automatically. When the system starts, a timer appears for 10 seconds to interrupt the automatic loading of Android (if automatic loading is set). The program also turns off the "automatically change the screen backlight" option before starting these files.

When you first start the program searches for all Android versions installed on your phone.

Changes / additions in the current version:
1. Automatic search and selection of Android version on a flash drive.
2. The boot timer can be set to values of 3,6,10,15 seconds. (Warning, if you set the timer for 3 seconds, you most likely will not have enough reaction to disable autoloading. The author of the post recommends setting it to 6 seconds, as he does himself. If you want to change this value from Android, you are affected)
3. The download starts immediately if you are not in autoload mode (there is no countdown timer).
4. The program searches for haret / clrcad files and processes all found files in the list so that you can select one of the options in the settings window. If these files are not on the card or in any of the subfolders, the message 'No Android build is found' will appear (Android is not found) and the program will close.
5. Startup data is stored in the WinMobile registry. If the program for any reason does not find the files specified in the registry, the program will re-search the android files and compile a new list for selecting Android builds and show it the next time the application is loaded.

Multi Build Loader for Android / Ubuntu

This app automates the task of running CLRCAD.exe and HaRET.exe. It will take you a second time to start the game. It also disables the backlight of those files in the background before executing the files here: //forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php? Post = 3 post 7)

First of all, there is no need for any storage card.

Requirements:
.NET framework 3.5

Only tested on HTC HD2.

Changes / Info on this version:

1. Auto Detect and Select Android build (s) on your storage card.
2 .Boot timer can be selected in a dropdown with values 3,6,10,15 seconds.
If I’m set mine to 6, I’m not sure where I’ve got it. )
3. Booting is instant, if you are not in 'autoboot mode' (no countdown)
4. Click here for the program tab. If you’re not able to find a folder, then you’ll be able to exit the program.
5. autoboot details / info is stored on registry. If you couldn’t have been able to find out what you’re trying to do.

It seems they did not understand me ...
The card is 8 gigs, and the androyd only allows you to put 250 megs of software,
This is the problem, so I ask how to increase this volume?

The explanation is very simple - in its current form, Android writes all its data to image files, and specifically in data.img. If it was at the stage of the first installation created with a size of 250MB, then that’s what you’ll have available.

Options to increase 3
