There is, called ACPI.
However, a normal beech should not have any cooler.

If you hope to buy a MacBook and put Microsoft OS on it and play, then you won’t succeed - Apple does not support DirectX. So the Microsoft OS will be suitable for everything except 3D work.

Having full 3D is possible via Bootcamp, but Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 video accelerator (which is installed on the majority of Wintel laptops of the younger series) will not pull in full. 3D laptop model is neededironmore powerful.
