The program does not need an installed SDK, it will download the necessary tools and configure them :)

But on wines 7, sometimes the program does not load the CDS itself (well, beta yet), if this happens, follow the instructions:

1. Create a folder DroidExplorer, and in it another - sdk, on this path: c: \ users \<username>\ appdata \ roaming \
   
2. We swingpiece with tools from sdkand unpack it into the created sdk folder (there should be 2 folders from the archive in sdk)
   
3. Restart DroidExplorer

copied there two folders from the archive ..

when you start the program - it sees the phone as soon as you connect to it, the program crashes

Maybe it's the firmware? The author claims that there is a program’s dependence on the firmware of the device, since The program uses the functionality (busybox in particular) of custom Cyanogen firmware, etc.

after installation does not want to download tools ... I have winxpsp3. if you manually specify sdk - complains about the lack of the android-sdk-tools-1.5r3.zip file at C: \ Documents and Settings \% username% \ Local Settings \ Application Data \ Temp, but at the same time it finds the phone, connects and then falls out with kernel error :(
I tried on two different computers ..
