True, the receiver sensitivity is not very happy (in IGO8 for PC, standing on the windowsill, I saw 4 satellites with a weak signal, respectively, does not determine the position, but there is no problem with an external bluetooth GPS receiver from Rover G5, the satellites find it quickly and the signal is good. The built-in receiver is available only when the SIM card is installed. I have thishttp://www.uti-note.ru/product93677204/. I saw him immediately liked. Completely satisfied. |

Something I do not plow the screw through it and the flash drives are fast complaining that the port is slow. Does everyone have it? I drove all three, I do not see the difference in speed. Ps. I took this device myself recently. I deliberately took it, small size, screen 8.9 (I think that the main point of the netbook is in small sizes, ease of carrying / transporting, etc.), low price, good company. They say it is heated - there really is such a thing, but nevertheless it is still moderate, and it should be calculated during the development and testing. OS Linux stood, replaced with its good proven XP, everything is fine, it flies, even with an antivirus (Kaspersky 3.5) and a memory of 512. The portable Photoshop CS3 micro quietly earned. Satisfied, in one word. Drivers for itHERE Choose your OS and installed hardware. Some links given above do not work. |

Cycle inventor [offline] Group: Honorary Gameday Messages 2382 Check in: 14.09.05 Reputation: 287 | I will add my five kopecks :) Add to the header that it holds up to 2GB of memory. Verified! I immediately expanded to 2GB after purchase. Now about the experience of use. Maybe someone will be interested :) I myself have a netbook since spring of this year, model NB100-12U. In base with XP Home, but as soon as Windows 7 RC appeared, I decided to try it. Since then, the seven and I sit :) The truth is now on the release of the box. In terms of speed, everything works no slower than XP, but in terms of convenience and new features (not only what is visible, but also technological solutions of the platform) are several times higher. There were no problems with firewood, the seven itself found everything except Bluetooth and a 3G modem. Initially, these firewood came from XP, and then Toshiba released versions for Win7. By the way, about firewood bluetooth. Toshiba in the wood has a certain Bluetooth Monitor, which is needed if you use Microsoft-firewood for Bluetooth. But personally, with my microsoftware, the link to the music center does not come up. And with the native wood "Toshiba Bluetooth Stack" everything is fine. True, in this case, Bluetooth Monitor is no longer needed. And it is not clear why we need the "3G RF Power Control Utility". I once put it, but from it only glitches climbed. What he had to perform a useful function, I did not understand :) Therefore, for those who have a model with 3G - put only 3G-firewood and Wireless Manager. If you have a seven, then the mobile network is displayed in the same place where WiFi-points can be connected directly from there. Wireless Manager in principle will not be needed, but if you install it, the best is the last (sixth) version. It is more comfortable (divided into three different applications: Connect, SMS and GPS) and more pleasant interface. Who has how much battery and in what mode? I'm in the seven with the wireless off 3-3.5 hours. With bluetooth about 3 hours. With Wi-Fi about 2-2.5. With a 3G modem hour 2. -------------------- Oldschoolman |

Cycle inventor [offline] Group: Honorary Gameday Messages 2382 Check in: 14.09.05 Reputation: 287 | Most of all I don’t like to turn on 3G, I need to turn on WiFi / Bluetooth. Because of this, with a 3G netbook ends quickly. I have so far found a way out - put Toshiba ConfigFree and set up 4 profiles: 1) WiFi + Bluetooth 2) WiFi only 3) Bluetooth only 4) no WiFi & Bluetooth The fourth mode is just for 3G. Now I always keep Wireless (Fn + F1) on, and I turn on and off the necessary adapters with profiles. Of course there is less confidence in this than hardware to chop off a module, but it seems like life has become more. -------------------- Oldschoolman |

Of course, in the start menu or somewhere else, no icons and software have been installed, but in Skype, LiveMeeting, etc., the camera is seen and working :) -------------------- Oldschoolman |

But in general, this is a Wireless Manager and not 3gdrv-20090928170511.ZIP link to which you gave me. Wireless managerin principle will not be needed, but if you put itit is better the last (sixth) version.
