Pocket F.A.L.L.O.U.T. - this is uniqueFREE, cross-platformrole-playing game for mobile devices based on Windows Mobile 2003, WM5, WM 6.x, as well as desktop PCs based on OS Win9x, WinXP, Vista, which allows the user to plunge into the boundless world of post nuclear, traveled wasteland. This project was created based on the immortal series of the game Fallout 1 and Fallout 2.
The project is unique and interesting because it is a series project. Every gamer at least once, but he wanted to create his own game, now this chance is given! Each user has the opportunity to create their own game levels, improve existing mathematical models, add non-ordinary game characters, influence the course of the game, while not possessing special programming skills. It is enough to be able to carefully read the documentation and have a little patience. Moreover, each user can share his creations with many people around the globe, according to the means of the project site!
For users, full documentation is provided (in Russian and English) on the embedded programming language, as well as on the main features and capabilities of the game engine. On the site of the game, players will be able to download all the tools for creating their mods for the game completely free of charge.

Installation Procedure:
1. Download the archive with the game
2. Burn the archive with the game on a flash disk (SD or CF)
3. Unpack the archive in the desired directory (for example, SD Card \ PocketFallout)
4. After unpacking is completed, run PocketFallout.exe

If your PDA meets the recommended requirements, but the game is terribly slow

1. Open the file config.cfg
2. Remove the battery status display. Parameter: battery_status = {0}
3. Remove the memory status display. Parameter: memory_status = {0}
4. MAYBE still need to remove the option to display frames per second. Parameter: show_fps = {0}
5. If you have removed all this, and the game still slows down, then set the parameter use_standart_clock = {1}.

If this does not help, then unfortunately your PDA is not designed for optimal play.

In the archive with the game is an additional archive Win32.zip. This is an executable file and music library for Windows XP / 2000 / Vista.
There are enough game resources to copy to your PC and unpack Win32.zip into the same folder (instead of exe-shnik and dll-ki for PDAs).
And you can run the game on the PC.
Remember that the resolution of the game window can be CONFIGURATED via config.cfg (it is also available in the Win32.zip archive).

You can not even hope for a large number of mods - the animation editor is available for a fee. (included in the paid version of the script editor)

The entire animation of the original game can be pulled out with the free FcFrmCnv program (available on the forum), and text configuration files will be created automatically and, if necessary, they can be edited (it is easy there).
If you want to draw something of your own, then you can do it without any problems in any graphic editor (Adobe Photoshop, Paint.NET, etc.) and write the text configuration file with your hands (following the example of existing ones).
