Hello!
On the last day of vacation, I decided to make the test cameras for our phone, on firmware
MIUI 8 (Xiaomi.eu 6.11.3) and
CM (Resurection Remix 5.7.4 from 10.10.16) .
Do I decided it because
do negerThere was no such test, and the most interesting. Always pleased something on the same firmware, and upsets at the same time.
For example, I don't like the power consumption on MIUI, as you do not twist, I could not achieve such a result as a CM, and still unloading applications from memory (although it has become less shall with this). In Cm and (in all assemblies), I was not satisfied with the camera (subjectively it seemed that it was very inferior). And here I have
Prisel There was time to make a test for cameras in equal terms.
How I did it: 1. After flashing MIUI and its settings - I made a backup in TWRP. 2. I flashed CM, set up it, made a backup in TWRP. 3. Fixed the phone on the table (where there was the first test). 4. Photographed without moving the phone first on CM, then restored MIUI and did the same with her. 5. Recorded the phone on the balcony (where there was a second test). 6. Photographed without moving the phone first at MIUI, then restored CM and did the same with it. In the process of photographing on MIUI on SNAP HDR in mode -Low Light + Auto Low Light The camera simply embroids at the last stage of saving. No manipulations with the results program were given.
Therefore, in MIUI in the first test less than 4 photos and in the second test less than 3.About the photo:
All cameras have exhibited maximum quality settings. Everything else is default.
SNAP Camera Camera2API mode is on, as well as:
- photo in software mode with enabledLow Light & Auto Low Light ;
- photo in software mode with enabledAUTO LOW LIGHT. ;
- photo in software mode;
- Photo B.HDR mode with enabled Low Light & Auto Low Light ;
- Photo B.HDR mode with enabled AUTO LOW LIGHT. ;
- Photo B.HDR mode. So, the most interesting is the test results.Go!

Manual focus, exposure and setting up ISO did not do, since the task was not to get the best photos, but to compare quality.Conclusion . I confused even more because:
1. Photos on both firmware are comparable in quality, the difference only at the HDR on the stock MIUI camera, but as now it seems to me there is more rich black color and sharpness that can be screwed to whom you need;
2. File sizes are about the same, but Cm is more;
3. Perhaps I will reconsider both item :)
Pluses MIUI:
- speed of photography.
Minuses MIUI:
- Not working AUTO LOW Light + Low Light in Snap Camera (I).
Pros Cm:
- quality is no worse than MIUI;
Cons CM:
- Shooting speed in Snap Camera. In the post laid not all photos, but part. Who wants to see the originals, with the description of the files download here here -
I.disk (1GB)
PS. The main thing from this is the fact that we now have real pictures at the same time, from the same angle(It is a pity that the black and white contrast window, alas, the time of year is).
