I decided to roll up the installation instructions for 6.5.7, and indeed, in principle, any custom firmware for rekoveri: the cleanest installation you can think of
Our Mi5 is called gemini in firmware and TWRP should be exactly this name.
0. Restarting the computer to the mode without driver authentication!
Win 8-10 x64
Press WIN + I
Hold SHIFT do not let go until reboot
Click Turn Off Computer
Click restart
After preloading, a blue menu will pop up in which you need to select:
- Additional parameters
- Download options
- 7 Disable mandatory driver signature verification
1. Loaded without checking the driver signature - download the last Miflash, and install from the administrator, it will deliver a bunch of drivers at once all you need! There is always a hat.
2. Unblock the bootloader officially with the Miflashunlock program (the link will be on the miui website when they give you unlock) (I had a 7.2.8 globale and everything was unlocked ok)
3. Downloading the Android SDK Platform Tools archive (available in the header)
4. Clamp at any time 2 buttons Volume down + hold the power button - we get into fastboot
5. Through miflash, flashing the official Chinese 6.5.7, ticking FLASH ALL tgz firmware must be unzipped to the state of folders, and to be faithful, put in the root of the disk so that the path is not too long! Two links to off site below.

15. In TWRP, we go to Wipe - we format the DATA partition, otherwise it is password-protected, after the format everything will be unattended,
go to the main menu, select reboot to recovery 16. Again in TWRP we go into WIPE - Advanced Wipe, select everything except SYSTEM, you can also mark SYSTEM, but if you are sewing the same version, then canceling SYSTEM wipe will avoid potential problems
go to the main menu, select reboot to recovery 17. Again in TWRP we go to MOUNT - and turn on the MTP (on the computer the phone should see), we drop the ZIP firmware into it, I usually put it in the TWRP folder
18. As the firmware has downloaded, in the main TWRP menu, select INSTALL and click on our ZIP firmware, everything is waiting for completion, and press REBOOT, the phone will be loaded for 10-20 minutes.
19. If the download takes more than 20 minutes - something went wrong.
