How to add a Ukrainian keyboard?
In choosing it is not.
How to download separately?
The problem of entering text in the Ukrainian language on the BlackBerry phones has long worried about Ukrainian-speaking users of our country. Unfortunately, the developers of BlackBerry 10 OS does not receive any intelligible information on this. It was rumored that the support of Ukrainian will appear in version 10.3, but already 10.3.2 flew away, but there is no Ukrainian. This, of course, is sad, but not deadly. :) If you are not afraid of small "dances with a tambourine", we offer you a couple of ways to somehow get around this problem while the developers do not please us.
Use Word Substitution feature to enter Ukrainian letters on BlackBerry 10
The task simplifies the fact that they are only 4. On phones with physical keyboard there are more opportunities and a bit more convenient to the resort of Ukrainian letters, but also on the touch keyboard, you can also handle it well.
First create a substitution rules in Word Substitution. For smartphones with a physical keyboard, they may be such:
and * - С–
and ** - С—
her
G * - Т‘
The word during the set is emphasized. When we get to the place where you need to insert a Ukrainian letter, press Alt, then BackSpace (Delete a Symbol) - Underclocking disappears. We enter a substitution combination (for example - and *) and a space. The mixing combination is replaced in the Ukrainian letter. We remove the space and write further.
This method works if there is no text further in the input field. If the text is (for example, an automatic signature in the letter), the replacement will only work if you enter a space, then a substitution combination, then another space (i.e. you will have to delete the following and previous spaces). It is inconvenient to delete the previous space, as you need to poke your finger into the screen and get to him, so you can turn off the auto-one and insert it too by a mixer combination (for example, to create a substitution rule :! * = s sodago, ...).
For fully sensory BlackBerry, substitution combinations may be:
II - Р†.
III - С—.
EE - С”
GG - Т‘
On touch devices, you will have to put spaces before and after the desired character, then delete both spaces. For frequently used words ("Privit", "Mamalia"), you can make separate lines of substitution.
Word Substitution is disabled by default in SMS, but this feature can be enabled in the hub settings.
Also Word Substitution does not work in the address bar of the browser (but it works in the form fields on the page), in the search for contacts and in some programs (for example, Google Talk).
How to add autotext elements:
On the main screen, swipe down from the top edge of the screen.
Click Settings - Language and Enter - Forecasting and Correction - Word Replacement.
Press the hook + down.
Add an item, click Save.
To add another one, press + again.
