vburvhik The core of xDoge can be put on other Roma, the question is whether it makes sense. After all, he does not describe in detail the differences between his core and the tree from the rest. Here, IMHO, the key role in the choice is played more by which of the authors will continue to issue updates and improvements, and I have always liked aragon12 as well. :-)

Official support does not provide stable updates and can also be abandoned, OTA can be implemented on a neof
Official OTA updates are usually backed up with regular builds (weekly, for example), i.e. they are more frequent, usually. Even the presence of official support gives a small incentive to developers, because there is a risk of losing the privileges of the manager, if you do not release at least critical updates. It is clear that this does not guarantee anything, because in the end everything still rests on trust in the developers, but that’s why official versions are preferable, IMHO, because demonstrate the more serious intentions of the authors.
from my acquaintances I can count on the fingers of one hand the people who use it
This is because they probably sit and monitor topics like this, XDA or Telegram channels. And with OTA, notifications about available updates themselves "arrive", how else can this be achieved?
