coke and de clox
Odex differs from deodex only in application structure. In the code in each application, the executable code is taken out separately in the .odex file, which is lying next to the application itself. In deodex, this code is packaged inside the app’s application. Space is saved, this time, well, modifications to system applications are simplified, they can be changed more easily. The minus of deodex, and even the mythical IMHO is that when you turn on the device for the first time after the firmware, a dalwick cache is created, so the device takes a long time to load. But this happens once, and in the future everything works the same way. This does not affect anything else, neither honest software, nor performance. It’s just that if you want to install a modified system application (for example, fasten the Russian search in the dialer or fix the Russian bar in contacts), then deodexed applications are very simple and convenient to change under the root without dancing with coke files.
